"Black Swan" New York Premiere
I have been hearing a lot about the new movie "Black Swan" recently, which makes me quite curious. The previews looked good so I may or may not go see it. Although, I would be content with just a movie trailer. I have this weird thing where I can watch movie trailers for hours. I want to be an actress just to have a movie trailer. Whatever, don't judge me. I'm sure you have weird things too. Anyway, now that I have shared a secret, the "Black Swan" New York premiere was tonight and Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis killed it, while Winona Ryder actually killed me. I don't even know what to do about her right now.
I don't know why Natalie Portman looks so devastated because she looks stunning in this breathtaking Dior gown. Oh my goodness, I love it. How great would Lea Michele look in this? I miss her on the red carpet.
Mila Kunis is slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite red carpet attendees. So far, whilst promoting "Black Swan," she has managed to look flawless each time. I applaud her for tonight she managed to do it again.
What the fug? This is awful. I don't like the whole women suit thing. Sure, Leighton Meester pulled it off, but I still hated the outfit. This is just all wrong. All. Wrong.
Blake Lively
I actually don't hate this Prabal Gurung dress as much as I originally thought I did. I mean, let's just be honest for a second. She looks great in each and every single garment she wears regardless of how ugly it may or may not be. Oh, to be Blake Lively.
Glamour January 2011
First, let me start by telling you I love that tomorrow is December. Second, I am really excited that the 2011 magazine covers are coming out. It's all very exciting. Glamour's January 2011 cover girl is Reese Witherspoon and I could not be more pleased even if I tried. She looks phenomenal. Truly, truly beautiful. She looks young without trying too hard. I still haven't forgiven Glamour for their Sandra Bullock cover. But, they have definitely redeemed themselves since their last cover. I mean, Fergie? Really? I'm still not over that...
Her arm looks a little weird, but I love her Burberry Prorsum dress. The color looks great on her.
Leighton Meester
I must admit that I don't necessarily like this Thom Browne suit, but somehow Leighton Meester manages to look amazing in it. I swear, this girl. She gets me everytime.

Fashion Quote of the Day
"Women's fashion is a subtle form of bondage. It's men's way of binding them. We put them in these tight, high-heeled shoes, we make them wear these tight clothes and we say they look sexy. But they're actually tied up."
David Duchovny
Heel Condoms
Heel Condoms. Not only is the name clever and a little bit funny (I laughed, sue me.), but the whole concept is actually quite genius for women who don't want to buy a countless number of heels for the holidays. According to the website, they are "Condom-like covers that let you play dress up with your shoes. These fit any stiletto type heels be they medium or high heel shoes." They then list perks which I will let you read on your own. Regardless of the name or warnings, I still think this is a really clever idea. Although the only question I have is are they comfortable? In order to use the heel condom, you have to place the elastic under your heel which could be annoying, but beauty is pain (Or in this case, annoyance), right? I only own a couple pairs of heels (Shocking, I know. But I'm a flats girl,) so I won't be buying any condoms, but by all means, buy away, ladies!
Kourtney & Khloe Kardashian
Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian were in New York City last night and I cannot get over how much I love Kourtney's coat. One of my favorite parts about London was the fact that EVERYONE was wearing a fur coat. Literally every woman I saw had on a faux or real fur coat. It made my heart so happy, I can't even begin to tell you. I mean, it was completely necessary due to the weather, but still. I didn't feel as silly walking around in mine. But I don't know why people judge because I love my cheetah jacket to death. Anyways, well done Kourtney. I love your coat.

Leighton Meester
'Ello! I am back from London. I am sorry I kept you all waiting (Just kidding, I like pretending that I am talking to a huge fan base, but let's face it, I'm really not. But for the sake of my current exhaustion, bare with me). So, I literally just walked in the door and I am catching up on all the celebrity gossip I missed and much to my pleasant surprise, Leighton Meester attended a photocall for "Herbal Essences" in Madrid on Wednesday. She looked beautiful, go figure, in this Versus dress. Oh, how I love her so.

Fashion Quote of the Day
"That's one thing about fashion that you really shouldn't be - you can't be melancholy in fashion because people don't respond to it."
Issac Mizrahi
Kate Bosworth
I am a little bit in love with the Jonathan Saunders Spring 2011 outfit Kate Bosworth wore the other day. And with her turquoise shoes?! Even more amazing. Well done. Although, the movie she is promoting looks really stupid, at least she looks pretty whilst promoting it.

Katy Perry
You all know how much I love Katy Perry, so I'm not going to remind you. But, I will show you yet another reason why I love her as much as I do... For her AMA performance, she started off in this gorgeous red dress. Then she ripped it off and was in a very unflattering one piece. But still. Just look at the dress. It's gorgeous. As is she. Naturally.
1. Look at the detail. Love.
2. Look at the whole thing, before it is ripped to pieces. Okay, that is dramatic, but it's just so pretty.
3. I whimpered :(
2010 American Music Awards
Apparently Biebs dominated tonight at the AMAs, which is ironic because he's Canadian. Whatevs. Anyway, I have some favorites and I have some not so favorites. Miley Cyrus managed to steal my heart on the red carpet once more. Katy Perry was a runner up. Nicki Minaj, well, we'll get to her later...
Of course this is Marchesa and of course I love it. I mean, the train? AMAZING. Well done, Miles.
This is a very tame dress for Katy Perry, but I love it. The color looks wonderful on her and the Badgley Mischka Couture dress itself is just amazing. I love her!!
I have no shame in saying that I want to be a part of the Smith family. I do not, however, want to visit their closets. That sounds frightening.
I don't know why Whitney Port was there, but I love her dress.
I actually really like Mandy Moore's Matthew Williamson dress. I also love her makeup and hair. It's a win-win-win situation right here.
Ugh. Taylor Swift, again? I swear I have seen this Collette Dinnigan dress on her before. I don't like her bangs either. She would look so cute with side bangs. Maybe next time, T. Swift.
Oh, Rihanna. I really don't like a) Your hair and b) Your Elie Saab Haute Couture dress. Too much going on. Way too much.
Also don't know why Kelly Osbourne was there, but I love her LBD.
Meh. Go away, Jessica Alba.
Nicki Minaj, why are you wearing this? Why, why, why?
Oh. My. Gosh. This is driving me crazy! Someone just wore this dress and I cannot remember who it was... It's really bothering me.
Heidi Klum is so pretty, but then she wears gross things like this.
Does Fergie Ferg have wings?...
Oh. My. Lord. It's like I want to give up on Ke$ha and I really have, but then she shows up in this hideous dress and studded eyebrows. I mean, come on now. Why?
I actually really like this dress and think she looks really pretty. Ke$ha, how come you didn't wear this on the red carpet? :(

Sad Day
So, for those of you who don't know me, I work at the mall. I know what you're thinking, "Oh, how exciting!" But it actually leaves me hating the mall at the end of the day. There are a few things I do love about working at the mall though. 1. Christmas decorations! 2. The new H&M that just opened up across the way. Today was the launch for Lanvin for H&M and as you probably figured out, I was uber excited about it. On my break, I ran on over to my H&M, noticing the less than crowded store, thinking it was strange, and ran around looking for any trace of Lanvin. Apparently, my store doesn't carry it. Rude, right? I found an employee and went "Um, excuse me. Did you guys get the Lanvin stuff in?" He looked at me like I spoke French and went "I'm sorry, the what?..." I huffed and went "Ugh, never mind." I was so irritated. I really want to try that yellow dress on, guys!
J. Lo
I'm sorry, Jennifer Lopez, but are you kidding me right now? A Gucci jumpsuit WITH drop-crotch Harem pants? Do you know how much I hate harem pants? Do you know how much I hate jumpsuits? Do you know how much I hate the term "drop-crotch"? Ugh. I'm dying over here and not in an "I die" way, but I can actually feel my heart rate decreasing. Never again, okay, Jenny From The Block? Never. Again.

Fashion Quote of the Day
"I don't see how an article of clothing can be indecent. A person, yes."
Robert A. Heinlein
Kelly Obsbourne
Well, this GUiSHEM by Guillermo M. Jop dress is interesting. While I love the bottom color, I don't fancy the top all that much. I still think she has been looking fantastic lately though.
Lanvin for H&M
I, for one, am getting really excited for the Lanvin for H&M line to come out. It arrives in the US and Canada tomorrow and the rest of the world three days later. And, I mean, sure I have seen some of the stuff, but I want to touch it and try it on. Last night, Alber Elbaz presented his Lanvin for H&M line by hosting a haute couture show and I am a little bit obsessed with all the looks. Apparently, there were chandeliers, peonies and French maids standing around. I'm a little sad I couldn't make it to The Pierre hotel in New York City, of course I wasn't invited, but still. Maybe next time... For now, I leave you with some pictures from the runway. They're fantastic. The random splashes of cheetah print have my heart. I'm obsessed. What's new, right?
Thank you, Mr. Elbaz for this wonderful collection.
This is my favorite picture. I want to strut around listening to Rihanna's "What's My Name?" Don't judge me. It's a very "I wanna strut!" song. Watch the music video and you'll understand.
These are my favorite looks. I will be picking up some of these tights tomorrow. I conveniently work across from a H&M in the mall. It's like God and Alber Elbaz got together to surprise me. Thanks, guys. I appreciate it.
This is just a little much. I don't know anyone in "real life" who could successfully pull this dress off. We shall see, I guess.
I love this dress. A lot.
I WANT THIS DRESS, PLEASE. So what if I used CAPS Lock, at least I said please.
I love this picture too.
