Leighton Meester

I am seriously obsessing over the outfits Leighton Meester has been wearing on the NY set of "Gossip Girl". Could she be any cuter? I really don't think that's possible. And, I mean, this polka dot dress has Audrey Hepburn written all over it, which makes it such a Blair Waldorf outfit. I don't think I can even begin to tell you just how excited I am for this show to come back.
She wore this amazing Bensoni polka dot dress on August 6. I don't know how I missed that. How embarrassing...
She wore this today and I know for a fact that I would hate it on someone else, but on Leighton, I can't help but adore it. I have a sickness, people.

Gossip Girl

Oh, and say hello to post number 900. That is a whole lotta fashion right there.

Jessica Alba

Oh, sweet Jessica Alba. I am INFATUATED with her Marc Jacobs dress. I love it so, so, so much. I think it's the perfect dress to "end summer" in. I'm seriously dying over here. It's that great. I even kind of love her velvet heels and goodness knows I hate velvet, but I just love everything about this.

Vanity Fair October 2010

Well, Lindsay Lohan graces the cover of the October issue of Vanity Fair, but due to the fact that no one cares about her, let's talk about Dianna Agron. Dianna is featured in the new issue of Vanity Fair and I seriously love the outfits they have her in. I mean, the first dress is fantastic. I want it! Although, I'm sure it wouldn't look as flattering on me due to the huge white swirl in the middle, but I love it nonetheless. Oh, so pretty.

Glamour October 2010

YOU. GUYS. The day has finally come. I think my ghost (Can you have a ghost if you're still alive?), or my twin, I guess, must've received a job at Glamour for they have finally taken my (secret) advice and put Lea Michele on the cover. Halle-freaking-lujah. Like, I could not be more excited even if I tried. And plus, they've totally redeemed themselves from the horribly uncomfortable and trashy-looking photo shoot of Jennifer Lopez for their September issue. And to think I was going to wait to check my websites in the morning... Pish posh.
I saw this and immediately a still from the Audrey Hepburn movie "Funny Face" came to mind, which is silly because I've never actually seen that movie. But I did just buy "Audrey: A Life in Pictures," so we'll let it slide. I really do need to see that movie though...
I love this Brochu Walker sweater. You guys, I just love her. I don't really love her No. 21 bra though, so she can put that away.
So, in my Trends & Forecasting class we just learned about how to pick the color that's right for you and we saw first hand that people definitely have their "color." The one (or two) colors that look good on them. But, Lea Michele has thrown that off, for I'm pretty sure she can pull off any color. For example, this Magaschoni cardigan. I love it. All these sweaters and cardigans are getting me SO excited for Fall.
Her. Eyes. That's all.
Seriously, this shoot makes me want to go out and buy 18 sweaters. I guess I'll have to wait for the stupid California weather to figure itself out. It's almost September, I do not want it to be 82 degrees, please...

Emmy Awards

I LOVE THE EMMYS. So much. So, so much. I walked in the house after work and completely melted over the red carpet. Lea Michele is best dressed by far. I'm currently watching the show, so if this is all over the place, it's because Cory Monteith, the rest of the cast of "Glee", Jim Parsons or the cast of "Modern Family" is on my TV screen.
Oh. My. Glee. Lea Michele looks so amazing, I can't even process this whole outfit yet. And this Oscar de la Renta is slowly, but surely going to give me a heart attack. I WILL get married in an Oscar de la Renta dress. Do you hear me? I WILL.
I love many things about this: 1. Julie Bowen 2. Her dress 3. Her show. This is my second best dressed. Obsessed.
My Mom is especially obsessed with Nina Dobrev's dress. I love the color, I love the embellishments, but Lea Michele and Julie Bowen still have my heart.
I haven't decided whether or not I like Dianna Agron's dress. It's kind of elderly looking, but I can't help but like it just a little bit.
Love, love, love. Angela Kinsley looks great. You all know that I love black lace. I love strapless gowns too, so this is just perfect.
Sweet Lord, help us. Why is Kate Gosselin there? I just can't. If I could trip anyone, it would be her. So gross.
Oooh I kind of like January Jones' Versace dress. It's fun!
Oh, I don't really like Jane Lynch's Ali Rahimi dress. I don't usually like her dresses. They're not very pretty and usually not very flattering. I do like the color though, it's pretty.
Oh, Kim Kardashian, why so pretty? We all know that I love Marchesa, but this dress isn't as wonderful as I had hoped.
If this Ralph & Russo dress didn't have a huge chunk missing, I think I would like it. Maria Menounos kind of bugs me though, so I don't know.
Oh, Sofia Vergara is so beautiful. And I really like her Carolina Herrera dress.
Are you kidding me, Stephanie Pratt? This would be cute if she was at dinner in Hollywood, but no. She's at the Emmys. I just do not like that.
I love Jayma Mays. I love this Burberry dress. Both very, very lovely.
Oh, sweet Lauren Graham. I want to like her Yigal Azrouel gown, but I don't think I can.
I am really loving all of these ruffles and strapless gowns. Amazing. Although Jessalyn Gislsig looks beautiful, I don't know if I love her hair though. It may or may not grow on me though, we'll see.
I love me some Tina Fey, I mean, who doesn't? Seriously? But this Oscar de la Renta dress doesn't have my heart as much Lea Michele's does. My cousin, Megan, said it reminds her of hieroglyphics and I agree. I agree.

Coco Rocha & James Conran Wedding Video

This is, by far, one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen. I can't believe I haven't blogged about her Zac Posen gown yet, I am ashamed. This is just too much. I mean, I know a wedding is an intimate and very private affair, but I can't help myself. It's too beautiful. I love me a wedding and I love me some Coco Rocha. Sigh.

!!!!

The Emmys are today! I am so excited, I can't even begin to describe my level of excitement. I can't sleep! I'm just that excited. Well, that and I slept pretty much the whole day because it was bleck. But seriously, so excited.

P.S. Happy Birthday, Lea Michele.

Katy Perry

Oh sweet goodness. I was too preoccupied with falling in love with Katy Perry's cheetah jacket the other night that I didn't even see her shoes. I mean, how fantastic are these Alberto Guardiani lipstick heels? I can't even.

Anna Wintour & Grace Coddington

Oh. My. Gosh. I can't even begin to describe how amazing I think these Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington dolls are. This is truly the greatest thing I have seen all day. Barneys New York partnered together with Andrew Yang to create these limited edition dolls, which will be going up for auction on August 31 until September 21 in honor of Fashion's Night Out. 100% of the proceeds will go to The New York City AIDS Fund. If they weren't starting at $2,000 each, I would buy each one in a heartbeat. They are just, oh my gosh. I am obsessed.

Vogue Mexico September 2010

Coco Rocha, my absolute favorite, graces the cover of Vogue Mexico's September issue and she looks so dang fierce, I can't even handle it. I love it. Lots. And the clothes. I just can't. She's too beautiful and the gowns are almost as beautiful.
Oh. My. Gosh. Look at her makeup! Stunning. Absolutely. Stunning.
Didn't Eva Mendes wear this to the Met Ball this year?... Yes, yes she did. I amaze myself with my fashion knowledge sometimes. Like, I can remember what Eva Mendes wore in May, but I can't remember to take out the trash? I don't even know.
I love this. The colors. The vest. The dress. Her pose. Her hair. Her.
This necklace is so fantastic, I can't even take it all in yet.

Fashion Quote of the Day

"When I shop, the world gets better, and the world is better, but then it's not, and I need to do it again."
Rebecca Bloomwood, Confessions of a Shopaholic

Katy Perry

Please don't hate me when I tell you that I am smitten with Katy Perry's cheetah jacket. I mean, I can't even begin to describe how much I love it. Her colored hair, however, I could live without, but she pulls it off because she's Katy Perry and she can do whatever the heck she wants. I love it. Now I am off to search for this jacket like a mad woman. Wish me luck!
