Teen Vogue March 2011

As much as I hate to admit this, I kind of love Ashley Greene's cover shoot for Teen Vogue's March issue. Sure, the only reason I dislike her is because she's dating my celebrity boyfriend, Joe Jonas, but whatever. I'm not holding a grudge. She's talking openly about him, so fingers crossed he breaks up with her for it. I mean, good for them. I'm glad he's happy... Anyway, I love that the shoot is outside and I like all of her outfits, for the most part. The colors of her dresses compliment her surroundings quite nicely. But I still kind of don't like her. Petty, I know. But don't judge.

SAG Awards 2011

Oh yes, 'tis yet again that time, time for the SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Awards and I have a whole bunch of favorites. Seriously, I got home, started looking and kept going "Okay, I like that one, I LOVE that one, I like that and I love that one too!" It's all very overwhelming. So, without further ado, my favorites and my not so favorites. Best: Lea Michele, Mila Kunis and Claire Danes. Worst: Jennifer Lawrence & Julie Bowen. I mean, honestly.
Of course Lea Michele wore Oscar de la Renta and of course she looked drop-dead gorgeous in the gown. I love this, I love all of this.
Mila Kunis looks stunning in this Alexander McQueen dress. And look at that train! Gorgeous, I am dying a little bit.
I adore Claire Danes' Louis Vuitton dress. It's so fun and floral. I love the color and the detailing and the silhouette. I don't love the belt, however, but I can deal with it.
I think this is the first time I have ever said this... I love what Tina Fey is wearing. She looks gorgeous in this Oscar de la Renta gown. I'm starting to think ODLR is incapable of making a woman look bad. Well, with the exception of Jennifer Lawrence, of course.
I have mixed feelings about Kim Kardashian's Marchesa gown. The color looks stunning on her but I look at it and love it. Then I look at it again and kind of unlove it. So, right now, I'm still not sure.
What made Winona Ryder think it was okay to bring a black (ugly) purse on the red carpet and pair it with a white dress?... I mean, really. What was she thinking? I really don't like this look and I think the purse truly ruined the dress for me.
Sofia Vergara looks stunning, as always, but I hate the dress. A lot. It's really, really ugly.
Sarah Hyland looks gorgeous in this deep red-orange colored gown. I don't necessarily care for the dress, but the color looks great on her.
Mindy Kaling looks quite beautiful here. The other night she wore something so hideous, I can't even begin to describe the level of hideousness. This dress is very flattering on her and I give her kudos for achieving that.
The sad thing about Helena Bonham Carter's outfit is that I have seen worse from her... I'm starting to think that the one thing I really, truly hate about it is her sunglasses.
Juliana Margulies looks stunning in this YSL gown. Her hair is a little too severe for my taste, but I do love the gown.
I feel like I should like Dianna Agron's vintage Chanel dress, but I kind of don't. I know, shun me! Lock me away in a tower. That is shameful, I truly apologize. I just really don't like the top. And her makeup is kind of unsettling. I respect that she went for the smokey eye look, but something looks weird about this. Maybe if she had worn her hair down? Ugh. I'm torn. Again.
I am stunned. This is the first time I have been able to keep myself from yawning (Of course I totally just made myself yawn by saying that) after seeing Nicole Kidman. While I admit I don't love her Nina Ricci dress, I like that it is different and not just her plain black dress. I do think she can and should mix it up a little bit though. She just goes with black or white and I know for a fact people make dresses in other colors.
I like Natalie Portman's dress. It makes up for last night's dress which I really did not like. I liked her hair better then though, this hair style looks like it's too tight on her head. You know?
WHY IS JULIE BOWEN WEARING A JUMPSUIT?! I thought we a) Discussed this and b) Had moved on. No one should ever, EVER, ever wear a jumpsuit. EVER. I can't even look at her right now.
See? This is what I was talking about. I really don't like anything about Jennifer Lawrence's Oscar de la Renta gown. I don't like pink and black together. I don't like pink and brown together. I don't like pink with any other color. I'm sorry, it's just how I feel. And her makeup makes her look like a rodent. Well, is a raccoon considered a rodent? Because she looks like a raccoon. Shame. (P.S. Look at the women around her, they are all so frumpy. This is just awful).
I really like January Jones' Carolina Herrera gown actually. I for sure thought she would be in Versace, but she tricked us and I am quite pleased with the results. In real life, the dress has more of a gold detailing to it. Trust me, it's beautiful.
I like Hilary Swank's Versace dress, but I'm not in love with it. I would like to be, but nothing is blowing me away.
Hailee Steinfeld is adorable. I love her Prada dress, she looks so cute. And the fact that her nails are neon pink is just the cherry on top of an all around good look. (Note to self: See "True Grit" before the Oscars).
Oh, sweet little Amy Adams. I want to like this, I really do, but I don't like halters. I never have and I can certainly say that I never will. She looks really cute and happy though.I kind of love Jayma May's Jenny Packham dress. She looks amazing in it. The color surprisingly looks great with her skin tone. I really love this. Although, do I spy black shoes?... Tell me they are silver and all will be right with the world again.

63rd Annual Directors Guild of America Awards

Oh, so many people were in Hollywood tonight for the 63rd Annual Directors Guild of America Awards. And the best part about this? LEONARDO DICAPRIO WAS THERE. Oh my heart. Oh my sweet heart. I actually don't really care that anyone else was there, even if the guest list did include Andrew Garfield.
Tee hee. I love him.
I'm sorry, Helena Bonham Carter is awesome. Of course, I totally hate this outfit, but she rocks it (as always) and I respect that. For sure.
Amy Adams is always so cute. I don't necessarily like her dress, but she looks gorgeous and the color looks great on her.
It's a shame that Melissa Leo dresses like this because she's actually very beautiful. This is really ugly and unflattering.
Aw, I really don't like Natalie Portman's dress. I know she's pregnant, blah blah blah, but eh. And the fact that the dress puts an emphasis on her ugly shoes is kind of unfortunate.
Sofia Vergara looks stunning in this gown. It's very old Hollwood and she looks wonderful.
I'm kind of torn when it comes to Jenna Fischer's dress. I like it but at the same time I don't. Ugh, I just don't know. I told you, torn!
I don't like anything about Claire Danes' dress. It's boring, as are her shoes. No thank you.
Oh, Andrew Garfield. Looking lovely, as always. The flash in this photo is kind of horrific, but he is still looking dapper.
Armie Hammer and his gorgeous wife Elizabeth Chambers were also in attendance and I think I actually like her dress the best. It's so pretty and I love the intricate detailing. Lovely.

Glamour UK March 2011

Oh good heavens, I am seriously loving all of Glamour's March issues right now. Leighton Meester is on Glamour Italy and Glamour Spain and now Lea Michele is on Glamour UK. What a wonderful, wonderful thing. I am kind of, totally, obsessed with Lea Michele's shoot. I have this weird obsession with photo shoots that have a 1950s vibe and take place in a diner. I don't even know what that's about. And, I mean, she looks stunning. But really, story of her life. And now that she's on Cosmopolitan and Glamour UK, don't you feel the Allure cover coming too?...
This is my absolute favorite picture. Ever. Okay, not ever, but I really love it.

Anne Hathaway

I don't understand what Anne Hathaway was thinking yesterday when she put on this hot mess for a special screening of "Rio." I mean, honestly, this is bad. This is really, really bad.

Jessica Alba

Earlier this week, Jessica Alba wore this seriously gorgeous Gucci dress to the Gucci Rue Royal Reopening and honestly, I adore it. It's so pretty and I even kind of like her hair. She did a very wonderful job with this outfit.

Cosmopolitan March 2011

Evidently, Lea Michele graces the March cover of Cosmopolitan, but this is strange because I for sure saw Cosmo photos of her floating around the internet late last year. Early release or fakes? I'm not sure, but I do remember people saying she would be on the January 2011 cover and clearly, that was false. Either way, I do know that she looks gorgeous. I'm glad to see her back on magazine covers again, even if it is Cosmopolitan. I want to see her on Allure, please. I can feel it, she'll get her cover(s).

Marc by Marc Jacobs Jelly Bracelets

Shut the front door. I hate that I don't hate these. Marc Jacobs created a set of five jelly bracelets, aka. Silly Bandz (Yeah, with a 'z.' That makes me hate it even more.), and I want them. I want them right now. It's $15 for a set of 5. I mean, come on. That is perfect. I seriously hate Silly Bandz but Marc Jacobs' jelly bracelets have my heart. How he manages to make cheap look chic, I will never know.
