Carey Mulligan

Ugh you guys, I just love her so much. It's starting to get ridiculous. Precious little Carey Mulligan attended the Catherine Martin and Miuccia Prada Dress Gatsby Opening Cocktail Party tonight. She's recently been rocking a "no makeup" makeup look and I'm actually REALLY digging it. She is so precious, I can't handle it. And as funeral-esque as this dress is, I also dig it. Let me be, you guys!

Vogue May 2013

Can we be real for a second? The May issue of Vogue, featuring the darling Carey Mulligan in character as her "The Great Gatsby" character, Daisy, has captured my entire heart and soul. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm a little bit of a hypocrite, or whatever, having not read the book yet. BUT give me the Roaring Twenties, Carey Mulligan and a dapper Leonardo DiCaprio and you know I'm in. I'm so in love with everything about the casting of the movie, the movie itself, this photoshoot, the clothes and especially the interview. I haven't been this pleased with a Vogue spread in I can't remember how long. But this article, and the pictures, captured my attention and gave me heart butterflies. You know, stomach butterflies, but happy ones in your heart? Yep. It's a thing.
Yes I realize this is velvet, but I'm looking over it for now because it's just so perfect.
 This Chanel gown is EVERYTHING.
So, this Alexander McQueen gown is everything too...
This is actually, probably and maybe my favorite picture?
I think that I need this headpiece in my life. Yep, I see no reason as to why it shouldn't be on my head. I also love this Chanel gown. But what's new, you know?

Wonderland April/May 2013

Okay, Taylor Swift has been somewhat of a difficult one to love recently. I mean, I have a love/hate relationship with her. She's so obnoxious but I adore her music still and I think we could eventually be soul-sisters when she stops being annoying in interviews. But whatever. Let's talk about how great her spread in Wonderland's April/May issue is. Because it's really freaking great, people. Whatever. Shut up.
I need these sunglasses NOW. Please.
 I adore this.

Fashion Quote of the Day

"Life is a party. Dress like it."
Lilly Pulitzer

Rumer Willis

I wasn't aware of Rumer Willis' hatred for our eyes, but she has made it quite clear now. She came out to the opening of the Marquee Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan in Vegas. So like, yeah, she's in Vegas at a Dayclub (Who knew that was a thing?) and "What happens stays in Vegas" and all, but "What happens in Vegas stays on the Internet. Forever." For shame, Rumer.

Glamour May 2013

Told you I'd be back for you, blog! When I make a pinky promise, I keep that pinky promise. You best believe that. Hayden Panettiere graces the cover of Glamour's May issue and I surprisingly really love it. I love the summer vibe and it has me really inspired to work out. JK. I am inspired to go bathing suit shopping. Same thing, right? Anyway, this is the best Hayden Panettiere has ever looked, me thinks, and I'm really okay with it.
I love the colors and this Dolce & Gabbana situation. But what I love even more is the fact that they point out her misspelled tattoo. Because I'm sure that's something she wants doodled on a magazine cover.
I'm kind of obsessed with this Malia Mills bikini top. Like, a lot.

Dear Blog (& Blog Readers),

Know you are loved & not forgotten.
Just because I got a new (big girl) job doesn't mean I love you any less.
It just means that I'm always tired.
I'll make more of an effort.
Pinky swear.

Love,
Erin
