Cosmopolitan January 2013

Ugh, y'all know I hate Cosmopolitan. Like, sure it's fun to read sometimes (We're all guilty, don't even pretend.), but I swear half of the crap they put in there is just to mess with us because it's so ridiculous. That being said, I still hate it. Carly Rae Jepsen graces the cover of their January issue and I'm not in love with any of it really. I mean, I looked at it and instantly two words popped into my head "sex hair." That's all I see. I would also like to point out that despite the fact that you can kind of see her butt cheek, she's not doing the normal Cosmo pose. You know, pouty face, finger through the belt loop/hand on the thigh pose, which is interesting when you consider the fact that at 27 she's the oldest covergirl Cosmopolitan has had in a few months. Let that sink in. Ugh, Cosmo, you're the worst and I think you know it. I still really like Carly Rae Jepsen though. No judging, but her album is actually really fun. It's a huge 80s dance party. I dig it.
This is not bad though, her hair looks really great.

Louis Vuitton "Small is Beautiful"

Louis Vuitton teamed up with (freakishly lucky) bloggers Elin Kling, Hanneli Mustaparta and Miroslava Duma to create my dream world in a short video. It features their adorable new small bags and I just want everything. I mean, throw in Louis Vuitton, macaroons and Paris and I am sold. Literally. This is so perfect, I cannot function normally right now. I am too busy overreacting over here. I mean, never have I experienced such a "Dear Santa, Give me everything" moment. You know?

British GQ January 2013

Yes, the January issues are already starting to come in and I am most certainly not complaining. Jessica Chastain graces the cover of British GQ's January 2013 issue in just her underwear and a trench coat. Pretty underwear and a pretty trench coat though. She is so perfect, I really have nothing else to say about it except that she should just be on all the covers for the rest of the year. Yes? Yes. I'm glad we can all agree on that.
This dress, or whatever, is confusing to me because at first I thought the fabric was her skin and it freaked me out.

Gotham Independent Film Awards 2012

The Gotham Independent Film Awards took place in NYC tonight and some of my favorite famous humans came out to play. Shall we judge them? Yep, we shall.
I love Emily Blunt a ridiculous amount, we've discussed this previously. I also love her Calvin Klein dress. What I am not loving, however, is the length of the dress/the pairing of these shoes. It's weird and awkward and I just don't like it. If I cover the bottom of the picture, everything else makes her look like a Greek goddess. Something I think she actually might've been in another life. More on that theory later.
Oh heavens, I adore Amy Adams, but I am not feeling this Giorgio Armani dress one bit. First off, velvet. Second, it just looks like a hazardous piece of origami. No sir.
Marion Cotillard is full of grace and elegance, I mean, she is Dior's girl right now. Therefore, I am concerned and confused as to why this Dior dress was chosen for her. It's ugly and I hate it. Okay, that was mean. It was true, but mean. I'm sorry.

"Hitchcock" LA Premiere

Helen Mirren and Jessica Biel-Timberlake (I heard she was fully changing her name to Jessica Timberlake? I would keep the hyphen, you never know when I am going to come in and steal her husband. Jk. I mean, what?) came out to the LA premiere of "Hitchcock" on Tuesday and well, let's just dive in.
Lord, let me age as gracefully as Helen Mirren. Honestly, don't get me started on her bikini pictures years ago. It's truly unfair. She is so great and still rocking Dolce & Gabbana. Like, what?
I am a little confused by Jessica Biel-Timberlake's Gucci dress. I mean, it has wings, you guys. I don't know, ruffles, wings, same thing. I mean, whatever it is, gave her sideboob and no one wants that.

Kate Winslet

Kate Winslet, whom I ADORE, was awarded with the Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire medal. Now, I don't know what that means, but I do know that she wore a funny hat and I respect it. I also respect her. She's so great, I want her to sing to me and braid my hair. Or we can just like, get brunch like fun girlfriends. Right? Right. I think it has potential to work.

InStyle Australia December 2012

Isla Fisher (Who, if we are being honest is quite a question mark to me still) graces the cover of InStyle Australia's December issue and she looks gorgeous whilst doing so. Honestly, she looks stunning in each picture. I love this. I love it all. SO MUCH LOVE. Okay, not too much, but it is pretty great. I don't know what I'm talking about anymore...
This Dolce & Gabanna dress is really making it's rounds... It should just stop while it's ahead, I don't want another Prada bodysuit situation.

Lindsay Lohan

Oh Lindsay Lohan, heaven help her. Heaven help her. Now, okay, let's have a moment of real talk really quick. I am being 100% serious when I tell you how excited and truly interested I am in her Lifetime movie "Liz & Dick." Like, can you begin to imagine the hot mess it's going to be?! To get us even more excited, she came out to the premiere of the movie wearing this heinous Donna Dashini gown. Like, I get that you are portraying Elizabeth Taylor, Queen of the Diamonds (Her unofficial title), but do you really need diamonds in your cleavage? Nope, nope you don't. I really have nothing nice to say about this dress at all. It's so awful. I'm still rooting for you though, LiLo. I am.

Jennifer Lawrence

Yes, I know that I just word vomited/girl crushed all over Jennifer Lawrence like, two posts down, BUT then I saw this and just had to comment as well. Shocker, I know, right? (Wow, so many unnecessary commas in those two sentences. I have a comma problem, let's not talk about it.) She attended a screening of "Silver Linings Playbook" in Beverly Hills last night and while my love for her knows no bounds, I'm going to have to say "No" to this outfit situation. I'm just going to pretend it never happened. That sounds good, right? Right. I just feel she can (and should) do so much better than this.

Jennifer Lawrence

OH. MY. HUNGER. GAMES. I'm currently watching Jennifer Lawrence on"The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and I have never been more convinced that we are destined BFFs. I mean, she is actually perfect. She just talked about (I'm typing this in real time, don't even worry about it.) how she got in a car accident because she thought she saw Honey Boo Boo and how she loves "any kind of TV that makes me feel better about myself." That's a direct quote, my friends. I adore her. Also, she looked gorgeous. I promise this Alexander Wang dress looked even better on the TV. And don't even get me started on these Alexandre Birman shoes. I'm dying. She's the best. All hail Jennifer Lawrence forever.

Rihanna

It's rare that Rihanna goes anywhere fully clothed anymore, but when she does she just puzzles me. I actually don't know what my eye should be focusing on here. There are too many stripes, it's really, really bad. I'm not sure what I hate the most, so this just needs to be shut down right now.

Keira Knightley

Keira Knightley has been busy promoting "Anna Karenina" and she has looked flawless whilst doing so. She attended the New York premiere on November 7 in this stunning Valentino gown. I love it. I love it so incredibly much. Black lace = the love of my life. It's whatever. She's been on fire with this promo tour.

American Music Awards 2012

Y'all know I hate me some music awards. They are just really, really awful. But, the American Music Awards were last night and well, I just have to talk about them because I am me afterall and there were some pretty dresses. Some being the keyword in this situation.
This is the best Taylor Swift has looked in awhile. I love this look from head to toe. Her hair looks great, her makeup is flawless, her Zuhair Murad dress is stunning and I'm also having a love affair with her shoes. I have nothing bad to say about this. It's perfect and my favorite look of the night. Defs.
If we look past Ginnifer Goodwin's awkward pose, let's talk about her super cute Oscar de la Renta dress. I have come to really love it.
Speaking of love, I love Jennifer Morrison's Abed Mahfouz dress. It's a little bit wonderful, no?
OH MY GOSH. This is horrible. I actually kind of hate Jordin Sparks' Etro dress. It's just actually the worst though.
Lucy Hale dresses so incredibly boring, I don't understand why. I feel like she has a lot more potential, so that just makes me sad.
 No.
I appreciate Ke$ha's efforts, but I actually don't like this. I love her hair and makeup, she looks so clean and unglittery (It's a thing, don't worry about it.) but the dress doesn't fit her well and don't even get me started on her shoes. No. Shut that down. I love you, Ke$ha.
I want Gwen Stefani's hair and Balmain blazer right now, please and thank you.

Marie Claire December 2012

Oh. My. Heavens. My Jessica Chastain and fashion magazine loving heart is exploding right now. Jessica Chastain graces the cover of Marie Claire's December issue and it's perfect. I need to give Marie Claire a round of applause for their choice of covergirls this past year. I mean, with some exceptions in the beginning of the year, they have done a relatively superb (Yeah, superb) job. A lot of magazines let me down this year, but not Marie Claire. When Leighton Meester graced the cover of their April issue, I knew things could only go up. I am so happy with this cover, I am going to write them until they publish my letter.
There's still just a lot of wording on the cover. That's one thing they need to fix for 2013.
She is stunning. Look at that hair! Also, this Armani Privé headpiece is to die for.
Okay, yep. Still stunning. I love her.
This Valentino gown is gorgeous, but the velvet is no. Shut that down, please and thank you forever.

While I don't think anyone should ever cover Jessica Chastain's gorgeous face, I really like the use of all these headpieces. This Maison Martin Margiela Artisanal piece is particularly gorgeous.
DYING DEAD.
This gives me anxiety. I feel like she's stuck and that scares me.

Behind the Scenes: Jessica Chastain for Marie Claire

Jessica Chastain is probably the sweetest, most precious little thing ever. Also, the fact that she said she enjoys "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" kind of made my day. It's whatever. I love her so much, you guys.

Kristen Stewart

What the ACTUAL Twilight-ish Hell (I'm sure that's a thing...) is this? No joke, I saw this and gasped. Thank goodness I'm blasting Christmas music to drown out my dramatic gasps because this needs to be shut down right now. I don't even know what I'm looking at fully. Kristen Stewart's stylist is feeling a lot of sheer during her "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" promo tour, evidently. She was in London today for the premiere and I'm really just flabbergasted. I can't think of another word to describe my confusion. This Zuhair Murad jumpsuit is just so heinous. Agreed? Yep.
IT'S EVEN WORSE FROM THE BACK. Oh my gosh. Stop this.
