I am having serious mixed feelings about Emma Watson's photoshoot for the November cover of ELLE UK. I really adore the cover shot. I like that her face isn't centered. It's different, perhaps a weird different, but I love it nonetheless. Her second picture though, goodness heavens. I kind of hate it. Her pose is awkward, is she wearing a visor?, her jacket has stars, she's wearing like 17 shirts. I just, I hate this.

Christian Dior Spring 2012 RTW
I am actually having slight heart attacks over here thanks to the Christian Dior Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear collection. Is it just me or does Paris fashion week seem to be winning oh, everything? Maybe it's because Paris is, rumor has it, more romantic or something. Either way, I am dying because despite all the gossip Dior has been picking up lately, Bill Gaytten worked Dior magic. I'm glad WWD agrees with me when I say there is no particular theme, but in my mind, it somehow all manages to flow one way or another. It's feminine and very appropriate for Spring. I'm telling you, having Spring collections in the transition into my favorite season is not very helpful. I want pretty boots and cozy scarves, dang it. Not pretty skirts and floral patterns! But the transformation from light and feminine to evening wear has my heart happy regardless of what other people are saying.
I can't exactly pinpoint why, but I am a little bit in love with this entire outfit. It's gorgeous.
As awkward as this transition piece is, I love it a little bit.
I like the vintage-y vibe I am picking up from these. I SWEAR I am really an 80 year old woman trapped inside a beautiful, talented, sophisticated (Oh, whoops. I just went on a tangent didn't I?) 21 year old. I live for these silhouettes and accessories.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Florence Welch
I'm not one for drastic haircuts, especially on people who had beautiful hair to begin with. So, with that being said, I'm sure you can imagine how much I am loathing Florence Welch's new haircut. It's too drastic and it has absolutely no form or shape to it. Such a shame. She really did have pretty hair...

Leighton Meester
Leighton Meester was in Paris today attending the Christian Dior Spring 2012 ready-to-wear show in a beautiful little white dress. I've said it before and I'll say it again, but I love that I never know what she's going to wear to an event. Her fashion style ranges from risque to innocent and I just love that she keeps us fashion bloggers guessing. But I mean if we're being honest, I kind of love everything about her. So I guess that's not too shocking to anyone.

Hailee Steinfeld
I'm kind of loving Hailee Steinfeld's Maje cape dress. It's so young and yet not too young. Contradicting, yes. True, also yes. It's kind of different, but I'm okay with it. I do not like her necklace though. I have a weird thing about necklaces. Chunky necklaces are great, but this one is not my favorite right now. But the fact that she added leopard ankle boots makes me want to cry tears of happiness.
Chanel vs. Tom Ford
Chanel and Tom Ford have released new fragrances this season and I must say, I am quite eager to ask for a sample of them. That's my new thing. I'm on a mad hunt for a new scent, so I am constantly asking for fragrance samples. I encourage you to do the same, it's very helpful. Chanel is adding their new fragrance, Jersey (Which is a really boring name for them, in my opinion), to their Les Exclusifs collection. Evidently it has notes of lavender, vanilla and white musk. So, it kind of sounds amazing. Tom Ford's Violet Blonde (I'm sure you've seen the advertisement, it's kind of amazing) has notes of violet leaf, musk and suede. I'm not sure how I feel about that one, but we shall see. I'll be visiting Nordstrom or Bloomingdale's and getting back to you.

Kirsten Dunst
You guys. I have a problem. I love everything about the Honor dress Kirsten Dunst wore to the UK premiere of "Melancholia" today. I know I shouldn't love it, but for some reason it just works. Everything works. And her hair and makeup looks kind of wonderful. I don't understand. I should hate this. Right?...

Fashion Quote of the Day
"Ugly. Is irrelevant. It is an immeasurable insult to a woman, and then supposedly the worst crime you can commit as a woman. But ugly, as beautiful, is an illusion."
Margaret Cho
Crystal Renn
We are going to ignore Crystal Renn's weird and waxy makeup and kind of awkward hair, and focus on the gorgeous Zac Posen gown she wore last night to the Metropolitan Opera Season Opening Night Performance of "Anna Bolena." I'm a little bit in love. I love it when I first saw it on Coco Rocha and surprisingly I love it even more now. I mean, look at the silhouette, the texture and those sleeves! They're so pretty I want to cry.
Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2012 RTW
While this is two days late, I think it's even better. Better late than never. Fashionably late. You know what I mean. Dolce & Gabbana's Spring 2012 ready-to-wear collection was kind of amazing. "Picturesque summertime in a small town in southern Italy circa the 1950's was the designers' starting point. The eggplants, zucchinis, tomatoes, and hot peppers you'd find at an outdoor market inspired the oversize prints that decorated fit-and-flare dresses and midriff-baring bra tops and full skirts." (Style.com) Then, this is where it really got good guys, it transitioned into beautiful crystal encrusted corsets. @#)%$!& I love it. I love that they began with garden vegetables and ended with a treasure chest. Or something.
This looks awkward and weird but it was kind of wonderful walking down the runway. True story.
I love that this has hot peppers on it.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. I love the eggplants, I love the entire outfit. I mean, look at this coat? It's a little bit wonderful.
I actually really love this. I think I would totally definitely maybe probably wear this.
I also love this. The purse is kind of weird.
I'm sure this is already hanging in Katy Perry's closet, no?
LOOK AT THE OUTFIT IN THE MIDDLE. That is all. It's so pretty.

Flare October 2011
Kirsten Dunst is on the cover of Flare magazine in the same Giambattista Valli dress Emma Stone wore to the "Friends With Benefits" New York premiere a few months ago and the same dress Sarah Jessica Parker wore in Marie Claire's September issue. I loved it on Emma Stone, I thought it was okay on SJP and now I just hate it. I am going to pretend this didn't happen, okay? Okay. I KNOW cover shoots happen at different times but I am sure they saw Emma Stone. This deserves a Liz Lemon eye roll, but I'm not on my personal computer, so just pretend it's happening. Also, I don't even want to talk about her hair. What are those bangs? It's giving her a lazy eye. Okay, that's mean, but I can't. I need this to stop. If people did some research, or their job, this wouldn't be happening. Three times.

Ashley Greene
Ashley Greene made an appearance at the iHeart Radio Music Festival last night in this super fugly dress. Like, is it a shower curtain, is it a trash bag, is it a sleeping bag? It's just kind of seriously totally awful and not flattering one bit. I need it to stop. Her makeup is super pretty though, so we can focus on that. But really, this dress is heinous. No, just absolutely no.

Mary-Kate Olsen
Mary-Kate Olsen was at a winery today mourning the death of, oh, wait... She was at a wedding? Well that's just silly. I mean, she actually looks like she's going to funeral. Although, it would be kind of strange if someone attended a funeral at a winery, but I'll save that for a rainy day or whatever. So, at first I was like "OH she's on the set of some goth movie about death or the underworld or whatever? Good for her." But yeah, no. This is wedding material. I will never understand any of the Olsen children. Except maybe Lizzie Olsen. She's appearing slightly normal, no? I should stop. But then again, so should Mary-Kate. (Sorry Riley).

Prada RTW Spring 2012
Miuccia Prada went all out for her Ready-to-Wear Spring 2012 collection. She described the line in one word, "sweetness." I'm not sure it's just sweet, but it is interesting. It's more of a rocker sweet. And that's big considering I don't like the word "rocker." It's weird. But the collection has a huge 1950s influence, which I appreciate, but for some reason the cheesy car printed jackets remind me of Ryan Gosling's scorpion jacket in "Drive." While I'm not crazy about this collection, I do like some select pieces. These could make some pretty great appearances in editorials, no? Also, we need to talk about these shoes because they are kind of amazing. And by kind of amazing, I mean I want them. Oh, AND I hate the models' hair.
I hate that I really like this bathing suit paired with a jacket and a belt. It's weird, but not unsettlingly weird.
RIGHT? I spy with my little eye a resemblance...
I kind of love this pairing.
I like this but the cut of the top is just too high. Also, I need a closer look at the bag because I think I might love it.
The print is really cute on this dress. And I'm not going to lie, I initially though the print was from a Dr. Seuss book. If you look at it from far away, with your eyes squinted...
I love this. I love this so.
