Giambattista Valli RTW Spring 2011

Alright. Due to the fact that I don't feel well and I'm tired, I'll keep this short and sweet, much like Giambattista Valli's show. The words minimal and retro automatically come to mind. The pieces were very boxy and clean cut with a random burst of floral pieces that actually made my heart smile. Oranges, blacks, whites and lime greens were popular colors that were incorporated into all of the pieces along with a pinch of leopard print. I'm kind of obsessed with the leopard print shoes many of the models were wearing. You all know that I'm a sucker for random pieces of leopard or cheetah print. Here are a few of my favorite pieces.
Okay, this is my favorite gown. I think it is beautiful and I actually like the colors.
Obsessed. I can see this on the cover of a magazine, cough Glamour cough, or in a photoshoot. I don't know how well it would do on a red carpet though. Fingers crossed it never makes it there.
These are so fun, right? Right.
Out of all of the animal print pieces, this one is my favorite. It's delightful.
I actually hate the orange top part of the dress, but I like the rest of it.
Adorable! Photocall dress, anyone?
This is also adorable. I love simple little white dresses. A LWD is the new LBD, guys.
HOW FANTASTIC IS THIS RIGHT NOW? I want to buy 17 of these skirts, lay them down and roll around in them until my heart is content. Mm.
