CFDA Fashion Awards 2010

The 2010 CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Fashion Awards Ceremony was last night and so far, I'm not all that impressed. I hate when that happens. But, there are a number of movie premieres coming up this week and next week, so I'm hoping that I will love some of those outfits more than these. Because let's face it, when Dakota Fanning ends up wearing one of my favorite dresses of the night, we know something is wrong.
I have yet to see a Marchesa dress that I don't like. Their dresses are so pretty and whimsical and glamourous. Although I would've picked different shoes, I think Dakota Fanning looks lovely.
I love Jessica Stam. She may or may not be (but definitely is) one of my favorite models. Do I love her dress? That has yet to be decided. It kind of reminds me of the black dress Vanessa Hudgens wore a few weeks ago, except for the fact that Vanessa decided to chop the slit above her knees moments before walking the red carpet. Stupid girl.
I want to like Gwyneth Paltrow's Michael Kors dress, but I don't. Let's be honest for a second, I don't really like anything Michael Kors makes. That and I find him EXTREMELY obnoxious on "Project Runway."
How is Iman 54 years old? That boggles my mind, for she looks amazing. I don't like her Giambattista Valli gown, but she looks gorgeous despite the hot mess that is her dress.
Whitney Port's David Meister dress just screams glamour. I don't love it, but she is working it.
Here's what I will never understand... Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are two of the most petite women in Hollywood (or the world, for that matter), but they wear over oversized outfits. You both have adorable bodies, please dress yourself accordingly.
Sarah Jessica Parker has been representing Alexander McQueen for a number of her recent events, including all the SATC 2 publicity. I don't really like it, but hey, what are you gonna do? I mean, it's a nice dress, but this print is also available in a brown, yellow, green and blue mix (As shown on this month's InStyle magazine).
Last night when I saw Michelle Trachtenberg's I liked it, but now that I'm looking back, I'm not as in love with it as I originally though. It's pretty, but I'm not completely sold.
First off, let me give you a minute to stare at the hunkiness that is Ed Westwick... Okay, you're done. Now let's talk about Alexa Chung's Marc Jacob's dress. I love the color and I love the designer, but I don't love the dress. It looks like a nightgown.
Jessica Biel's DVF dress is growing on me. I don't know why, but it is.
Oh, so boring, Alexis Bledel. Maybe it's the fact that her Behnaz Sarafpour dress matches the color of her skin, but I don't like it at all. Sorry, but I think she could've done a lot better.
