Marchesa RTW Spring 2012

As I am sure you know, I love me some Marchesa. Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig have truly outdone themselves this time with gorgeous gowns inspired by "An underwater fantasy painted by Ilya Repin and the drawings of Ernst Haeckel..." The gowns were over the top and close to perfect. Instead of using the ever-so-popular predicted Spring colors, they chose metallics and muted colors. I, personally, am obsessed with this entire collection. The thing I love most about Marchesa gowns, aside from the absolute heavenly ruffles they all have, is the fact that you see one (A gown, I hope you're keeping up with me.) and you automatically know who made it. Mm. And just in case you were wondering, I found about 19 more potential wedding dresses. I may or may not even make an appearance at my wedding, I'll be changing my dresses so much, but if my husband doesn't understand that then there really was no hope to begin with.
This is my favorite (It's one of my future wedding gowns, in case you were curious). I am CONVINCED Karlie Kloss is is every fashion show. Literally, every single one. How she does it, I haven't the slightest clue.
This neckline is kind of weird, but I kind of love it.
Another potential wedding gown!
I love that she has pink hair. That is all.
I LOVE THIS. It's like a 1920s dress with a twist. Oh my gracious. It's amazing. I need to wear this before I die. I can see Blake Lively in this, no?
I know it probably wasn't the plan, but this would be a great maternity gown. Perhaps if a celebrity gets knocked up before wedlock (I'm holding out for Miley Cyrus, don't judge my life.) but decides to get married at like, 6 months, they can wear this to their wedding.
I saw this and automatically started singing "I'm like a bird, I wanna fly away..." Nelly Furtado? Anyone?
This gown is HUGE. It's amazing. I need to see this in magazines.
