2011 Academy of Country Music Awards

Alrighty, I am such a slacker. So, finally let's talk about the Annual Academy of Country Music Awards (Aka. the ACM Awards, I mean honestly could the award show name BE any longer? How obnoxious).

I love Taylor Swift's Elie Saab gown SO incredibly much that she gets two pictures. I am obsessed. It is gorgeous. She managed to stay true to her "everything must sparkle" style, but also managed to mix it up. And I love that she styled her hair in loose curls instead of tight curls or a curly updo. This is just a win-win-win. I adore it.

Reese Witherspoon didn't walk the red carpet for some reason, but she was a presenter, which is so random to me. I don't understand awards show presenters. Anyway, I like her Marchesa dress, but it's not very flattering at ALL, which is really unfortunate because it had potential and she has the cutest little frame. Sad times, no?

UGH. Nicole Kidman, why do you do this? More than half of the time when she makes a red carpet appearance I actually have to sit here and ask myself "Good Lord, why is she there?..." then I remember that sometimes she acts and she is married to some country singer. And I mean, considering the fact that she is often forgotten, I don't know why when she makes appearances, she wears ugly dresses like this L'Wren Scott dress. C'mon Nicole. Think!

Miranda Lambert, yeah, I don't know either, wore a SUPER unflattering Lorena Sarbu gown. Oh my goodness, so bad. Did she lack a mirror on her way to the event? This also worries me because even though I have never heard her music, I do know that she is getting married. Fingers crossed she is just getting the ugly fashion choices out of her system beforehand.

Julianne Hough's Randi Rahm gown is weird to me and I'm not exactly sure why right now. It hangs on her weird and I don't like halter dresses, so that could be it.

Oh no. Carrie Underwood, WHAT?! Okay, maybe that was a LITTLE dramatic, but for some reason, I am not loving her Jean Fares gown. I mean, the dress itself is kind of beautiful, but I don't know, I don't think it suits her. I'm kind of on the fence I think. Okay, the more I look at it, the more confused I get. I just don't know, you guys. Okay?!

I have absolutely no idea as to why Brooklyn Decker was there... But nowadays, she's in the most random places, no? But at least she looks pretty most everywhere she goes. (That "most" is referring to that jumpsuit fiasco awhile back). While her Victoria Beckham dress is nothing special, it looks fantastic on her. And can we talk about her new haircut? I adore it.
