Although I did not watch the Tony Awards, I was in LA for my Grandma's 80th birthday (Yeah, you read that right), I am still really excited about the red carpet. But heck, let's face it, I've never met a red carpet or an awards show that I didn't love just a little.
Holy eff, Lea Michele. This is why I gave you a glimpse of those Polaroids down there vv. She looks amazing in this Zac Posen gown. I love the way it falls on the floor. I love the color. I love it all. And well, let's face it, I love the crap out of her. Oh, and good news, I have come to love her bangs. I was still uneasy about them, but I have finally come to terms with them.

I actually made a face of disgust when I saw Cate Blanchett's Giorgio Armani Prive suit. It's disgusting. One blog even compared her to the Tin Man, which made me laugh for two reasons: 1. It's totally true and 2. I hate the Tin Man, so that one was a nervous laugh. He scares me, I don't wanna talk about it. Well, "The Wizard of Oz" kind of makes me anxious. I think we've discussed that before though.

I have yet to decide how I really feel about Katie Holmes' Giorgio Armani Prive gown. I like the color, but it's kind of just there. I have to be honest though, I am kind of judging it based on the person, I don't fancy Katie Holmes all that much, but mm. I'll get back to this one.
Good gracious. Catherine Zeta Jones looks beautiful. I don't, however, like her Versace gown all that much. The top is stiff looking and reminds me of those cheap Macy's dresses people would get for Prom. I mean, no offense to Macy's or their dresses, but you totally know which ones I'm talking about, don't you? Yep, thought so.
Kristin Chenoweth is so dang cute, it's ridiculous.
Oh Lord, what is wrong with the world today? Paula Abdul actually looks lovely. What a very pleasant surprise. The color, I'm not so in love with, but the dress itself has definite potential. 
I have to say that seeing all these women live changes your opinion a little bit.
ReplyDelete1. Katie Holmes dress barely fit her up top and was a bit too short for my taste. NOT okay. Plus her shoes were strange.
2. Zeta-Jones dress was really beautiful when you saw her move in it. Just sayin'.
3. K.Chen. in stinkin' adorable and great... but that dress was just WAY too short on her. Watch clips from the show. You will see what I mean.
