People's Choice Awards 2011

Ah it's that time again! And while I realize that the PCA (People's Choice Awards for my slower readers) are not as important as the Oscar's, Grammy's, Golden Globes and what have you, they are neat for the celebrities nominated because they're picked specifically "by the people." Whatevs. I'm sure I will really love it when I am a nominee for Best Actress in a Drama... What? I don't know where that came from. ;) Anyway, you know how much I love award shows. Especially ones where Leighton Meester is in attendance. I watched part of the live stream of the red carpet (Note to the people of PCA: Fire your hosts, they are painful to watch. And then hire me.) but I didn't get to judge, I mean see, everyone. Shall we? (Spoiler alert: But I did read on Twitter and Tumblr that "Twilight" won over "Inception" for Best Movie? Well, that is just plain silly. Oh, the silliness).
Can we just talk about how seriously STUNNING both Minka Kelly and Leighton Meester are? Ridiculously stunning, I can't even process their beauty. It's really unfair. I LOVE Minka Kelly's dress, I love the color and the silhouette. I would most definitely wear that. I also love Leighton Meester's Vionnet dress. It's very Anthropologie-esque. I love it. Unfortunately she didn't walk the red carpet (That I know of...) but I really love it. A lot. A lot. I really love the detailing on both their dresses too, hence the close up.
First off, I kind of hate that Kristen Stewart won Favorite Movie Actress, beating Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts AND Katherine Heigl. Ridiculous. I mean, if it had gone to someone who can, oh, I don't know, act, (*Cough* Jennifer Aniston or Katherine Heigl *Cough*) then I wouldn't be so confused. But I mean, have you seen "Twilight?" I mean, what?... Whatever. I actually love her Reem Acra dress. It kind of reminds me of a dress she wore a while ago, but I loved that dress too, so no harm no foul, right?
Aw, Natalie Portman is such a cute Mommy to be. Presh. I don't think I would normally applaud her dress choice, but I like it for her situation. Or whatever. And Ashton Kutcher needs to freaking cut his hair. I don't even know what that is about.
Despite Ashley Tisdale's uber pouty face, I really like her dress.
Although I am not Emma Roberts' biggest fan, I really love her outfit choices for tonight. I love her Dior dress and her Brian Atwood heels. What I love most about her heels is the fact that she didn't choose black ones. Yay! A job well done, Emma.
Oh Lord. I hate how much I adore the Kardashians. I really like Kim's Catherine Malandrino dress and Kourtney's Gert-Johan Coetzee dress, but I am really in love with Khloe's Alexander McQueen dress. It's gorgeous! I also really like her new hair color. Oh, Khloe... She will always be my favorite Kardashian. No doubt about that one. Their little sisters look cute too, but eh. I don't care about them as much.
Sweet, sweet Katy Perry. How I love her so. I'm almost 100 positive that when she sneezes, sprinkles come out. She is so colorful and sweet. Mm I love her.
Although Mila Kunis' dress is kind of plain, I still really like it. No complaints here. I'm sure she's one of those actresses who could wear a paper bag and still come out looking gorgeous.
Okay, what? Everything about this photo is awkward. From the way Aly and AJ are posing down to their outfits. I truly do not like any of it. Especially AJ. What the crap, woman?
Taylor Swift's red carpet outfits are SO boring! I mean, sure her J Mendel dress is real cute, but it's so predictable. And her lipstick doesn't flow very well. I just, meh. T.Swift, please mix it up next time.
I guess all that island romance with Justin Bieber left her realllll tan. Either that or she needs to fire her make-up artist/tanning person? (Those exist, I swear. Once I watched some show on VH1 about how Eva Longoria has a tanning person.) Her red carpet Paule Ka dress is quite cute. It reminds me of a sea animal. I like it, but what I am really obsessing over is...
Her performance gown! This Irina Shabayeva (Yeah, you read that right. She was the bitch who won "Project Runway Season 6") gown is stunning. I think she should've worn this on the red carpet and then picked another dress for the performance. But either way, I'm glad she's mixing it up now. Kudos, Selena.
