Golden Globes 2011

I have been working on this blog post for four hours in between actually watching the Golden Globes, eating dinner and watching "Easy A." Fingers crossed I didn't forget anyone. The popular colors on the red carpet were nudes and peaches and there were many emerald green gowns. Lea Michele was best dressed in my book and Helena Bonham Carter was obviously the worst. I absolutely love the Golden Globes. Go "The Social Network," go!
Lea Michele! Oh good heavens. Lea + Oscar de la Renta = Win every single time. She looks wonderful. I'm seeing some criticism on the color of her dress, but I think she looks great. I also love her hair which is refreshing considering so far I have hated everyone's hair. Oh, Lea. I love you lots.
I absolutely love Leighton Meester's Burberry dress. I love the color and the slit and I even love the sleeves. I love her shoes and her little purse is adorable. Leighton exceeded my expectations and I adore her even more for that.
I don't like Angelina Jolie, but I actually kind of like her Versace dress. The color is weird, but I like the silhouette. Yes?
Helena Bonham Carter is just. She is just. First, I honestly can't hate on her because she is Mrs. Tim Burton. And second, I didn't have much hope for her but I definitely did NOT expect her to be wearing two different colored shoes and this hot mess of a Vivienne Westwood dress. I mean, honestly.
Kaley Cuoco looks stunning. I love her dress and the bottom detailing. And she was precious when she gave Jim Parsons his award. The two of them are adorbs.
I ADORE Amy Adams' Marchesa gown. The color looks amazing on her. This is one of my best dressed of the night.
Heidi Klum looks like a hot mess. I really actually hate her Marc Jacobs dress and her make-up/hair is truly awful. For a model, I don't understand this choice.
Hailee Steinfeld is adorable. Last time I checked she was only 14 and I think she carries herself beautifully.
See? I told you that this color looks great on everyone. I love Elisabeth Moss' Donna Karan dress.
I don't know how I feel about Jayma Mays' Alberta Ferretti gown. It's very mermaid-esque, which I am not opposed to, but I don't know. Her hair looks incredible though. Someone should give her a hair contract.
This is kind of an odd color, but I kind of like it. Kyra Sedwick looks beautiful in this Emilio Pucci gown. It's kind of summery and such, but it's nice.
Oh, I LOVE Sarah Hyland's Max Azria gown. I love the color and the detailing. Her necklace is also gorgeous, I adore her whole look.
Oh, I adore Anne Hathaway's Armani Prive gown. Rachel Zoe did a great job with her this year. It's so pretty and she looks radiant.
I'm not in love with Claire Danes' dress, but I'm not hating it either. I do like the color, but it's kind of just there. You know?
Sofia Vergara is gorgeous. Absolutely stunning. I'm kind of (extremely) sad that she didn't win her award, mainly because I am sick of Jane Lynch winning. But she's still gorgeous and I hope she'll get it next year.
I love Julie Bowen and I love her Tadashi Shoji gown. I like the detail and the color. I have decided that I want to be her when I grow up.
I want to love Mandy Moore's dress and everything she does, but I can't love her dress. It looks almost unfinished to me. She looks pretty though, real pretty.
Jennifer Lopez! What? I have reason to believe that this would be a gorgeous dress if she hadn't put this blinged out cape on top of it. I mean, what on Earth?
Oh look! Halle Berry forgot her dress. Oh wait, that is her dress? That's unfortunate.
Oh, sweet Michelle Williams. I do not like this hippie Valentino dress.
Catherine Zeta-Jones is absolutely gorgeous. I LOVE this color, honestly this color looks good on everyone, and I love the dress. I love her hair and her earrings. Well done, Zeta-Jones.
Carrie Underwood looks gorgeous as always, but there is nothing that is catching my eye with this dress. You know? She still owns it though, no doubt about that.
I don't know how I feel about Sandra Bullock's dress. I love the color and the detailing, but I don't know if I like the dress itself. I also don't like her bangs. I don't like anyone's bangs tonight.
I really, really don't like Christina Aguilera or her dress. I don't hate the dress, I just don't love it as much as I thought I would originally.
Oh, Megan Fox. I love the color, but I don't love the Giorgio Armani Prive dress. The top is too much for me and that strap is just plain ugly.
Mila Kunis' Vera Wang gown is lovely, this color looks gorgeous on her. I kind of don't like her hair though.
I actually like January Jones' Versace dress. She's representing the brand she is the face of and she looks perfect doing so. Snaps for you, Miss Jones. She looks like a porcelain doll.
Why are Nicole Kidman's gowns always SO incredibly boring? I just don't understand why she always chooses boring gowns. I mean, I'm sure she could've done a lot more with this than she did. Yawn.
I love Emma Stone, but I really don't love her Calvin Klein dress. I like the color, but the dress itself is kind of boring. Maybe if she had added a fun necklace or something. She still looks great, but I prefer her Critic's Choice Awards dress.
Oh, Scarlett Johansson. I love the color and the detailing, but I don't like the dress itself.
I really don't like Natalie Portman's Viktor + Rolf gown. I do respect the whole covering but showing off the baby bump thing, but I don't like it. Apparently pink is a popular color on the red carpet this year, which I adore.
Oh, Eva Longoria. I love the train, but hate the dress itself.
I'm not in love with Julianne Hough's Marchesa dress. It just really does not have my heart. Nor does her hair.
Dianna Agron looks absolutely stunning. The color is so pretty, as is the dress. I don't know if I like her hair, but her dress really is amazing as is her necklace and clutch.
Oh, Jennifer Love Hewitt, I don't know what to do with you. I don't like this gown, it slightly reminds me of a shell or something out of the ocean or something. Ick.
Shut up right now. Olivia Wilde's Marchesa dress is stunning! Although this is only the second dress I have seen so far today, I'm obsessed. Her bangs are okay, but her dress makes up for them.
Kelly Obsbourne's Zac Posen gown is not my favorite. Maybe it's the tannish line down the middle or the one-shoulder strap or something, but it's not my favorite.
