2011 Palm Springs Awards Gala

I KNEW this was going on today, I should've driven out. Stupid, stupid Erin. While I sit here and drown in my sorrows, or something else depressing, I shall inform you that lots of celebrities, the good ones, mainly, came out to Palm Springs today for the 22nd Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala. Jealous. Especially since Andrew Garfield and Carey Mulligan were in attendance. Along with James Franco and Ben Affleck (Whom I only now find attractive after seeing "The Town," by the way). Ugh. Shall we?
Oh, how can you NOT adore Carey Mulligan? I mean, honestly. She is so adorable, I just want to put her in my pocket. I love her dress and I love that she won an award for Breakthrough Performance. I mean, I don't know if you saw "Never Let Me Go" but it was heartbreaking and depressing, but also moving and beautiful and she sure as heck deserves it. So does AGarf, but I mean, he deserves pretty much everything if you ask me... Mm.
Meh. I love him. I love them actually. How about he breaks up with his ladyfriend and they start dating. Does anyone object to that?
Brenda Song looks cute, but what I REALLY want to talk about is Jesse Eisenberg's hair. What the Hell? I mean, let's get real right now. What is it doing? It's so stinkin' ugly and it worries me because award season is upon us and "The Social Network" is nominated for a buttload of things and I mean, I can't have him standing with the cast, Andrew Garfield in particular, with this haircut. It's unacceptable and just plain fugly.
Natalie Portman is such a cute pregnant lady, but this dress is just, blah. I don't like it all that much.
Rashida Jones' outfit is weird. I don't know why I dislike it, I just do.
Oh, Amy Adams. Why such a hot mess? What is wrong with this whole ensemble? It's just a wreck. From the hair to the dress, I really don't like any of it. Better luck next time, please.
