Oscar de la Renta Live Via Tumblr

As you know, New York Fashion Week is here. My Twitter feed is blowing up with PR Girls, designers, magazine editors, stylists, bloggers and celebrities Tweeting up a storm about the incredible festivities in New York City this week. Fashion's Night Out (FNO) is tomorrow and it is really the beginning (With a few exceptions, of course) of all the fashion madness. The week of coffee and champagne, constant Tweeting on the red carpets and near the runways and, thanks to technology, instant pictures of the newest collections. Due to the fact that I am a fashion PR/stylist/magazine editor in training, I am stuck in Los Angeles, so I am living vicariously through everyone and getting tips for next year. To add to the excitement, today it was announced that Oscar de la Renta (My absolute favorite) will be creating an official Tumblr page at odlrlive.tumblr.com for a live feed of the show! Pictures of the runway show will be added in real time. Every picture (or post) with the tag #odlrlive will be posted onto their Tumblr page which is a treat for bloggers like myself. The Tumblr page goes live on Friday and it will host a live-stream of the show on Tuesday, September 13 at 6 PM. I will most definitely be viewing that in class.
