Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel!
She would've been 128 years old. Although, rumor has it that she claimed she was born in 1893 instead to make her seem 10 years younger. Gosh, she was sassy, wasn't she?

Fashion Quote of the Day

"As far as I can remember, every dime I ever had went to something extravagant. I would rather spend more, buy fewer items and have them forever."

Cosmopolitan September 2011

I just now realized just how bad Dianna Agron's Cosmopolitan magazine cover is. Like, what is her hair and WHAT is her right arm? I didn't realize how creepy and mutant-y it was until I checked Go Fug Yourself. I just really, really don't like it. And, as if the first cover wasn't freaky enough, they decided to give us the option of two more covers. I like the second one, but what is the third one and what is her outfit? I think Cosmopolitan should just shut it down. Shut it all down.
ARM. I need magazines to shut Photoshop down too. Just shut everything down, okay?!
See? This one is just alright. Her hair is still awful, but with the side part it doesn't look as Mom-esque and weird.
NO. NO. NO. I think they Photoshopped her body, but at least her arm looks normal. But what is this shirt and why is her hand awkwardly in her pants? Why is her hair pushed back. It does NOT look sexy pushed back. I don't like any of this. Once again, SHUT IT DOWN COSMOPOLITAN.

Marie Claire September 2011

When it comes to Marie Claire, I always slack off when writing about it. Shame on me. Sarah Jessica Parker graces the cover of Marie Claire's September issue and I actually like it a lot. Well, I am mainly in love with the huge skirt. It's beautiful, you'll see. It's gorgeous and I love it so incredibly much.
Okay, well I really don't like the cover outfit. It's kind of (really) ugly. Like, what is it? It's so 90s and ugs. And the colors look awful too. This is a really bad cover. It looks like a February issue, no?
I LOVE THIS CHRISTIAN SIRIANO SKIRT. I love it so incredibly much, it is ridiculous. Oh my gosh, I want to twirl and twirl in it and then sleep in it. And then I want to get married in it and live in it forever. I also like that they paired it with a plain Enza Costa top. I like casual with couture. This is all so wonderful, I'm obsessed and sad I was lazy about this.
Oh, crap. A little fashion repeat. I'm sure you remember Emma Stone wore this Giambattista Valli outfit to the New York City premiere of "Friends With Benefits." I actually just made a reference to this outfit yesterday because I love it so. I still love it, I just liked it better on Emma Stone which I know is no surprise.
Oh no. Why did they pair a Chanel dress with AG Adriano Goldschmied jeans? No me gusta.
I hate that I like these Bird by Juicy Couture leather leggings.
I can't tell whether or not I like this Emanuel Ungaro dress. I think I do. I'm not sure. But I see sequins, so I vote yes.

Emma Watson

Ugh, I hate how much I love Emma Watson. She is featured in i-D Magazine's "Pick Me Up" Issue No. 314. Or their August issue. Whatevs. She looks seriously gorgeous, and while I don't love the second picture, I do love the other two. Why is she so pretty? I still don't understand. Oh and in case you were wondering, her hair is growing on me now more than ever. Gosh, I miss Harry Potter. (Moment of silence, please).
Obsessed.

Chanel FNO 2011 Nail Polish

So, I'm quite excited about this. Chanel has created three nail polishes exclusively for Fashion's Night Out next month. The collection is appropriately called Les Jeans de Chanel and includes three shades called Blue Rebel, Coco Blue and Blue Boy. I feel like Blue Rebel could be fun, no? I hope thy are available in Los Angeles. Nay, the BETTER be available in Los Angeles or I will be a little bit upset.
