Blake Lively for Chanel Mademoiselle

Well now THIS is more like it. The first photo from Blake Lively's ad campaign for Chanel's new Mademoiselle handbag collection surfaced a few days ago and it was quite unimpressive. Dare I say it, I was disappointed. But I am really liking the rest of the campaign. And can we just talk about the behind-the-scenes photo? That is just the cutest picture I think I have ever seen.
This melts my heart. Oh, to be Blake Lively. Honestly. She has everything.

Elie Saab Fall 2011 RTW

Although Elie Saab's Fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear collection is nothing special, some of the pieces took my breath away. He stayed very true to his style, but some of the silhouettes were different from what he usually creates and I fully embrace them. The color palette is kind of dull, but it is the Fall collection, so no complaints there. Here are my favorite looks.
SEQUINS! LONG SLEEVES! HIGH(ISH) SHOULDERS! I'm dying. This is my favorite dress.
This is gorgeous! Really, really gorgeous.
This is kind of like the black dress that I am lusting over, but I like the black one best.
Holy slit! I love that.
This coat is bananas. I want it, pretty please with a cherry on top!

Fashion Quote of the Day

"While clothes may not make the woman, they certainly have a strong effect on her self-confidence - which, I believe, does make the woman."
Mary Kay Ashe

Blair Waldorf & Chuck Bass

I love this for a number of reasons. 1. LEIGHTON MEESTER, obvs. 2. Blair and Chuck are reunited?! 3. Leighton, I'm sorry, Blair's outfit. From the dress to the coat. I mean, honestly. This is killing me, it's so gorgeous. I do not, however, like Ed Westwick's, Chuck's (Honestly, I don't know what to call them when they're in character!) coat. It kind of looks like a rug. Moral of this: I still have a girl crush on Leighton Meester. As much as I love Blair and Dan, I need Blair and Chuck to get married and have children. I am obsessed with Blair's outfit. Oh, and I am already going through "Gossip Girl" withdrawals. Whatever.

Aubrey O'Day

Oh. My. FUG. I don't even know where to start. Her ruffle hot pants? Her confused shoes? (Seriously, what are those things?) Her shirt? Her belt? Her hair? All of her hair. So much hair. I mean, I wonder what goes on in her head at night when she takes off her fake hair, the 5 layers of foundation, her fake eyelashes and her hideous clothes. Like, is she happy with her decisions? Clearly she doesn't care. I mean, there is NO POSSIBLE WAY that this is what she actually wanted to do with her life. Sure, she is rich for being loud and unnecessarily slutty, but really? This entire thing hurts my eyes. From head to toe, I need to go look at pictures of flowers and kittens and macaroons and cute boys. Although I am sure that even if I found a picture of a cute boy holding flowers, kittens AND macaroons, it still wouldn't make this go away completely.

Valentino Fall 2011 RTW

Holy Valentino! So. Gorgeous. It's my color palette! It's so fluffy and gorgeous and I want to wear ALL OF IT. This collection makes me very happy, I love it. So, here are my favorite looks. Okay, I chose like, all of them. Is it my fault that they're so gorgeous? Yeah, I didn't think so either.
Seriously, what are these go-go boots? I hate them. But I love the color of the dress.
This may or may not be one of my favorite looks. It's so simple, yet so, well, Valentino. That was dumb. I know what I mean.
I am really not a fan of these boots, but I'm a huge fan of the dress.
HOLY FUR! THIS COAT IS BANANAS. I LOVE THIS! I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. And those shoes, I'm in love.
This looks like a dress Blair Waldorf wore on "Gossip Girl" a few weeks ago. I loved that dress and I love this dress too.
This makes me want to go to London and walk around in the rain.
I adore the color and the bottom of this dress. Oh, so gorgeous.

Alexander McQueen Fall 2011 RTW

UGH! Fashion is moving too fast for me this week, it's ridiculous. New York, Milan, Paris... It's all too much. I'm. So. Tired. The Alexander McQueen Fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear show was earlier today in Paris and I didn't like the first half of the collection, but the second half melted my heart. I am PRAYING that Sarah Burton does indeed create Kate Middleton's dress. She would be really stupid if she turned that opportunity down. I mean, I kind of want her to wear Valentino still, but rumor has it that Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen will be making her dress, so fingers crossed. But considering the wedding is in a month and 21 days, I'm thinking they should get going on the whole dress situation. So, I present to you my favorite looks from the collection. The collection almost contradicts itself, it's light, white and innocent and then dark, black and sexual. Very Black Swan, White Swan, no? I'm a white swan, for sure.
This is my favorite look. I ADORE all of it. The feathers at the bottom, the intricate detailing, the neckline. It's lovely.
I think this is my second favorite look. It's adorable.
I don't like the necklace/collar. It's fug. I LOVE the bottom of the dress though. Good heavens, it's amazing.
I loathe the top of this dress, but the bottom is gorgeous. I want the entire dress to look like the bottom. So. Pretty.
Out of the "Black Swan" part of the collection, this is my favorite.
I hate and love this. I hate the sleeves and the collar, it's so ugly. But I kind of like the dress. Maybe. I don't know.
