Diane Kruger

Diane Kruger attended the premiere of "The Host," which is pretty much like a sci-fi version of "Twilight," me thinks. Granted, I'm gathering that from the movie trailer, but still. You know? Anyway, she looked gorgeous in this Thakoon dress, but I'm not digging these shoes because I feel like they don't match? Right? I don't know. I'm really sick guys. But I do know that she looks gorge.

Rihanna

The other day (JK like two weeks ago, I've been really busy, you guys.) Rihanna LITERALLY wore my nightmare. It's like she went straight into my dreams, "Inception" style, saw my outfit nightmare and decided to wear it. I mean. One pair of denim pants is fine, really, but TWO? Like, she's wearing two pairs of pants. I don't understand. What's most annoying about this situation is that she still looks gorgeous. I think I'm mostly upset about that. Nope, I'm actually most upset about the pants. They're really, really horrific.

Marie Claire April 2013

So, truth be told I am having, yet another, major girl crush at the moment. This time, it's on the gorgeous Olivia Wilde. I saw "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" last night and was seriously most impressed by her. She's so pretty, I can't deal with it normally. Jason Sudeikis is a stupidly lucky man. Curses. Anyway, Olivia Wilde graces the April issue of Marie Claire and I mean, it's pretty great. Minus the whole wet hair look because heaven knows I hate that so much.
Stunning. I mean, it's stupid.
I really hate the hair here, which is a bummer because her current hair cut is actually really quite delightful.

Harper's Bazaar April 2013

Oh snaps, I'm kind of, most definitely, almost, totally in love with Harper's Bazaar's April issue. Selena Gomez graces the cover  and I could not be more delighted if I tried. Truly and honestly! I mean, you guys, these pictures actually have me hoping for spring and summer. I mean, I mostly want new clothes, so any excuse is a good excuse, but still. Also, let's talk about how absolutely stunning Selena looks throughout all her pictures. She is truly working it and trying to break out of the Disney Channel mold. Get in line, lady.
I think her dress is doing some weird things, pattern-wise, and don't particularly care for it but she looks stunning.
You know I usually have a problem with subscriber's covers but I'm actually obsessed with this one.
I mean, yeah, this Prada outfit looks like a folded up napkin you get at a wedding or a fancy restaurant, but she's kind of owning it.
Literally, STUNNING.

85th Academy Awards

THE MOST BLESSED AND SACRED DAY HAS FINALLY COME AND GONE. The 85th Academy Awards, aka. My favorite day of the year (As previously discussed a million times on the blog/in life.), are over already and boy, oh boy, did we have some great dresses grace the red carpet. Shall we begin?
Amy Adams won my heart for Best Dressed of the Night. She looked more like a princess than ever in this stunning Oscar de la Renta gown. I love me some Oscar de la Renta, this is a fact, so this entire situation has my heart.
Jennifer Lawrence was my second favorite for Best Dressed of the Night. This Dior gown was FANTASTIC. I mean, it was everything I love. It was huge and so wonderful. I mean, yes, my future BFF did trip walking up the stairs to accept her Oscar statue for Best Actress, but if anyone was going to trip and embarrass themselves on national television, it would be her. This is how I know we are soulmates.
Jessica Chastain finally wore something flattering and pretty! This Armani Prive gown was just really quite gorgeous. And don't get me started on her hair and makeup, because that was flawless all around.
Samantha Barks was seriously overlooked by all the awards shows, I think. She seriously stole the show in "Les Miserables." She was all I could stare at. Her face, her tiny little waist, etc. She's great. This dress is also so great.
Someone decided to invite Kristen Stewart to present. Now, my best friend and I watched the awards show in an hour (Instead of 5) so we missed a whole bunch of the nonsense from Seth MacFarlane, KStew, etc. so I'm not sure how she did, but either way I don't love it. I do, however, love her Reem Acra gown. It's stunning. I feel bad for her though because she did have to use crutches on the red carpet. So sad.
I am still quite obsessed with Kerry Washington's fashion choices as of late and I really quite like this Miu Miu gown. It's so pretty and I heart gown trains.
So, I like the top of Zoe Saldana's Alexis Mabille Couture gown, but I kind of really dislike the bottom. The ombre gray situation happening is not my favorite. But the top, the top is so pretty!
Jennifer Hudson's body looks bangin', but she looks like an Avatar in this Roberto Cavalli gown.
So, I adore Reese Witherspoon, but I don't love this Louis Vuitton gown. She is way too tiny and there is just way too much fabric for such a tiny body. You know? Of course.
Anne Hathaway is really annoying me as of late. But that's besides the point. Her Prada gown was not great. The darts, aka. Dress nipples, were so distracting, it's all I was paying attention to. But, on a more positive and optimistic note, her hair is growing back nicely, her jewelry was gorgeous and her Ryan Gosling look alike husband is still really attractive. So, you know, there's that.
I am very disappointed in Jennifer Aniston and her hair. She generally has impeccable hair, but oh no, not last night. It was all over the place and I'm not having it one bit. Her gown was alright, it was kind of wrinkled and I think she should've worn at least one or two pieces of jewelry to spruce it up. It seems like a general missed opportunity.
Naomi Watts looked like a gorgeous alien in this Armani Prive gown. I didn't like it at first, but now it's weirdly growing on me and I'm totally okay with it actually.
Charlize Theron looked like a grown up Miley Cyrus on the red carpet. I think I like her Christian Dior Haute Couture gown. I mean, I think I do? I'm not super excited about it.
I DON'T KNOW WHY NICOLE KIDMAN WAS THERE. Ha ha I mean, I never know why Nicole Kidman is there, you guys. I don't. Only I do this time because she was a presenter. Now, her L'Wren Scott dress. It's interesting. I don't like the belt, mostly. It's just too much, I don't know what to focus on. I'm hoping it just doesn't photograph well? But I'll give it to her because she actually looks so great. I'm proud of her.
Halle Berry wore some type of Beetlejuice looking Versace gown. Nope. Nope. Nopers.
Jellyfish Garner. I mean, Jennifer Garner. She looked gorgeous in this jellyfish-esque Gucci gown. I mean, it's similar to something she's worn before, but I still love it. Also, her hair and makeup is flawless. And watching her tear up in her seat while her hubby, Ben Affleck, accepted the Oscar for Best Picture "Argo" (Which, by the way, was such a freaking good movie) was tugging on my heart strings. I adore it.
Adele wore a black dress, so like, alert the presses, you guys!

HAPPY OSCARS DAY TO ALL!
Also, can we talk about the fact that Joan Crawford slept with the Oscar she won back in 1946? I mean, if we're being honest, I know I'd do the same.
