WSJ. April 2011

Anna Wintour graces the cover of WSJ. Magazine's April issue and she looks as fierce and icy as ever. OH how I adore her so. I mean, I know I should fear even the sound of her name, but as Hermione Granger said "Fear of a name only increases fear of the thing itself." That may or may not be the first and last time Hermione Granger and Anna Wintour are ever mentioned in the same paragraph. Awesome.

Fashion Quote of the Day

"I would hate for someone to look at my shoe and say, 'Oh my God! That looks so comfortable!' That's not what I want to project. But I'm not a sadist. I don't believe suffering makes you beautiful. But comfort is not part of my creative process."

Leona Lewis

What the what? I do NOT like the dress Leona Lewis wore the other night to the 25th Anniversary Genesis Awards. Like, is that a horse? Is that faux horse hair? And her lipstick and nail polish? I don't understand any of it. Rumor has it that she designed the dress and the fact that she thinks she is a designer is really worrisome. This is all just a hot mess.

Knit Your Own Royal Wedding

Oh. Yes. You read that right. With the help of author Fiona Goble's book "Knit Your Own Royal Wedding," you can do just that. Is this ridiculous? Totally. Is this awesome? TOTALLY. I am obsessed with the idea of the royal wedding. I need it to be here already, you guys. So. Excited. Granted, it would be hard to knit without knowing exactly what her dress looks like, but I would be MORE than happy to try. I do hate knitting though, but still. THIS IS AWESOME. I'm not exactly sure what this has to do with fashion, but I'm sure you can find a hidden meaning in here somewhere...
(The Queen is my favorite. Look at how adorable she is! She's wearing pearls. So fancy).

Glamour UK April 2011

There are so many things I love about Anna Kendrick's cover shoot for Glamour UK's April issue, I'm not even sure where to begin. The clothes. The fact that the shoot took place in Paris. Macaroons! The clothes again. The cute boy she gets to run around with. The clothes once again. And the macaroons again too because I am really craving one. As always. Anyway, I love this entire shoot and I am really slacking on this thing. Sad, sad times.
Macaroons and Chanel? YES PLEASE. Veuillez oui. Si por favor. Or something like that.
I love this whole outfit. I love the sweater and the skirt and the fact that they paired these shoes with this outfit. Oh, so much envy.
I just watched "An Education" and this totally reminds me of it. I LOVE THIS ALL.
Look. At. His. Teeth. They are perfect! That is one (of the many) things I look for in a man. Mm. And he is wearing a suit. Sweet goodness, I want to kiss his face and look at his perfect teeth.

Fashion Quote of the Day

Celine Dion

I've already shared that I absolutely ADORE Celine Dion, so naturally, I am ridiculously excited about the fact that she is back in Las Vegas for her new show, Celine, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Tuesday night she opened up her new show and she looked incredible. Oh sweet goodness, Celine looked fierce. Ugh, she's amazing amazing amazing. She had a handful of outfit changes and she rocked every single one of them. I LOVE CELINE! But seriously, I want her to be my adoptive Mother. Speaking of my Mother, we are on a mission to see her show this year. Hot and dangerous, I can't even wait.
I am DYING over this Elie Saab gown. Look at that slit! Look at that detailing! Look at that lace! Look at the color! THIS IS SO WONDERFUL.
She is so adorable and she looks seriously amazing in this Armani Prive gown. It was custom made just for her and I really love the alterations they made. Honestly, how did she JUST have a baby? Nay, she had TWO babies. I don't understand.
I'm not as in love with this Kaufman Franco dress, but she does look great in it.
I LOVE this Balmain dress. Oh goodness. She is loving the slits right now and she looks fabulous whilst doing so. And can we just talk about how much I love this dress. Shoulder pads!! Kate Beckinsale wore it a few months ago and I loved it then as well, but let's face it, I like Celine Dion's version better.
This Balmain dress is so short, but so great. I kind of want to own it.
