C Magazine

I mean this in the least weird way possible, Rose Byrne has a really great face. I think it's her bone structure and her cute little bob that I'm too scared to pull off. But mostly, I'm infatuated with all these spring pieces! I wasn't in the mood for spring this time around, but dang. All these florals (I know, roll your eyes Miranda Priestly...) are so beautiful. Anyhoo, she graces the cover of C Magazine and I adore it.
I need this Michael Kors dress, or a version of the skirt, last week. It's so beautiful, I want to twirl in a field whilst wearing it. Or you know, pose like chic queen on a magazine cover. Same thing.
THIS DIOR SKIRT GIVES ME ALL THE WARM FUZZY FEELINGS.

Billboard Music Awards 2015

I will always dislike music awards. I don't know why, I honestly can't pinpoint the cons (or pros), I just hate them. BUT I do not hate red carpets, celebrities or fashion, so it has that going for it. Shall we?
Tonight was Taylor Swift's night. She debuted her highly anticipated music video for "Bad Blood" (I was literally the only human not invited to be in it, I'm pretty sure.), she brought her incredibly gorgeous and talented posse, her envious abs and her hottie "rumored" boyfriend. I'd say girlfriend has no complaints. She looked gorgeous in this Balmain jumpsuit that perfectly outlined her abs. Did I mention I want them?...
This is an awful lot of fabric for Las Vegas. It's definitely the right amount of sequins though.
Oh, Taraji... I know I just tsk-tsk'ed Meghan Trainor for too much fabric, but this isn't exactly what I had in mind. It's 3 cut-outs too many.
I heart Lily Aldridge for lots of reasons. Mostly because she's stunning and always so well put together. Her skirt reminds me of Beetlejuice though, therefore I'm going to veto that (I'm still holding onto those kindergarten nightmares, y'all). BUT I do love that all Taylor's girls (TBD on that name) have monogrammed Edie Parker clutches with their "Bad Blood" character names on them. UGH GOALS.
:( That's all. :(
WHO IS DENCIA AND WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? It's like I'm looking at her insides made out of candy! Ugh. Remember earlier when I was like "Gosh, I don't know why hate music award shows?!" I just remembered why. THIS is why. Ugh, I'm so sorry to end this post in such a fugly way.

Diane Kruger

Cannes Film Festival has been in full effect all week and I have to say, until today, I haven't been too blown away. But TODAY. Today changed everything. Well, actually, Diane Kruger changed everything. She stunned in this incredible Prada gown. My goodness. Can I get married in this?! Or at least drink coffee and watch "Friends" in it? I have big dreams... I know.

ELLE June 2015

Taylor Swift graces the cover of ELLE's June issue. Ah, my future BFF is at it again, taking the world by glittery storm. While I don't love the red shoes, they distract me from the glittery goodness, she is striking a fierce pose and I love her for it! Taylor Swift for President! Or for more covers. Not the same thing, but I'll take either one.
ALL THAT GLITTERS IS GOOD. (It's a thing.)
I want a permanent purple light to follow me around.

In My Bag...

I work with beauty brands and have received my fair share of lipsticks, mascaras, blushes, etc. Seriously, I've lost track of how many different shades of lipstick I have alone. I've never been so blessed! While it's fun and exciting, 9 times out of 10, I'll use a product for a week and go back to my beloved items. When you know a product works for you, you just KNOW. (Yep, I'm comparing beauty products to love. Accept that it's happening.) Here are some of the items in my surprisingly minimalist day-to-day makeup bag.
Glossier Priming Moisturizer My love affair with Glossier started when they sent me a box of product along with the cutest stickers I'd ever seen and a pink bubble wrap cosmetic bag. I MEAN. Does it get any better than that? The answer is no, in case you were wondering. This moisturizer is my favorite for a few reasons. 1. It's unscented. A major plus with face products. 2. It's lightweight. With summer right around the corner, I can already feel my face getting dry. The problem with dry skin (besides the obvious) is most face moisturizers I've used are crazy thick. But not this one, it's light and airy, you can barely feel it. 3. This isn't proven for everyone, but one day I put it on and my boyfriend asked what I had changed about my face. I was clearly puzzled and replied "Um, I just put face lotion on?" He said it cleared me up and I looked extra radiant. Okay, I added the radiant part in. But if a boyfriend notices a makeup change, that's almost like magic, friends!//Glossier.com for $22
CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara by LashBlast in Very Black A few months ago Maybelline decided to break my heart into 17 million pieces by discontinuing the best mascara ever created. (RIP Volum Express One-by-One) I was seriously devastated, I didn't know where to turn. How could I live without a little mascara love for my eyelashes?! It was a dark time. That is, until I found CoverGirl's Clump Crusher Mascara. It had the same consistency as Maybelline and wasn't clumpy - hence the name. It went on smooth, elongated my lashes and didn't smudge after use of my rosewater spray. That's all I wanted in a new mascara! Stability. And now I've found it. I could not be happier. But I swear, if they ever take this away, I don't know what I'll do.//Target or CoverGirl.com for $5.60
CHANEL Crayon Sourcils #30 I know this may sound silly, but this was one of my first major beauty purchases. I remember it vividly. I received a Bloomingdale's gift card (Okay, so I didn't actually purchase it myself, but whatever.) and decided to treat myself to some Chanel love. Instead of a nail polish or lipstick, I went crazy and bought an eyebrow pencil. I was feeling chic and sophisticated! Oh, it changed my life. My life and my eyebrows' lives. I don't know what that means exactly, but I haven't been the same. It is the smoothest pencil I've ever tried. I'm currently trying out a new pencil and not pleased. The shade is perfect and the brush is just right! I've never really been a brand person, but I do truly believe Chanel makes the world a better place.//Chanel.com for $29
ESOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balm in Sweet Mint I used to see girls with these ESOS lip balms everywhere. Seriously, they traveled in packs. I was always intrigued by how they applied it and how it all fit into the little ball. This all changed when Coachella time came around. I needed a chapstick that wouldn't melt in the hot desert sun. I also wanted something that smelled good. That's where ESOS came in. Not only is the container stinkin' cute, but it smells (and tastes, that's important too) SO good. It moisturizes the perfect amount and doesn't feel heavy or waxy. The sweet mint also leaves the right amount of a tingly mint feeling. But my favorite part is that you can still apply lipstick on over the balm. That's extremely important on my list of lip balm needs. I think I'm in love!//Target or ESOS.com for $3.29

That's all for now. I have a lot more, but these should tide you over for now.

Glamour UK June 2015

Let's face it. Taylor Swift and I are long lost soul sisters. We just are. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind we would get along perfectly in real life. We have a lot in common (Not just including her long list of ex-lovers... I only wish they were my ex-lovers. But hey, I can dream.) and we could have cat/friend dates. If that's not perfect, then I honestly don't know what is. My BFF graces the cover of Glamour UK's June issue looking flawless, as per usual. I adore her hair and the black and white vibes of the shoot. She can do no wrong in my book. Also, I know I'm a broken record, but European magazines are always just a little better than American magazines. This just proves my point.
This dress looks like the paper snowflakes we made in elementary school. For that I love it even more.
Girlfriend is all about those crop tops and they agree with her.

FASHION May 2015

I've said it before and I'll say it again... Elizabeth is my favorite Olsen sister. I know, blasphemy you may say. Outrage, you may also say. But I stand by it. She's quiet and mysterious, I know very little about her. She has cute hair and I want to be her friend. She was also a mysterious bad ass in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" so she has that going for her. By that, I mean she knows Thor and Iron Man. She graces the cover of FASHION's May issue with a cute haircut and a beautiful DSquared skirt that makes me want to a) watercolor and b) twirl around until I get dizzy. You know, the usual things.
The skirt is HUGE. I love it so.

Kate Middleton & The Royal Baby

Last night I went to bed with the comforting knowledge that Kate Middleton was (finally) in labor. I woke up to texts and Tweets telling me the baby arrived and SHE WAS A GIRL. Oh, my heart. I am so excited, I can't bear it. Now, I don't know exactly why I am so emotionally invested in everything Kate Middleton and her family does, but I am. I have been invested in them for awhile and it will never stop. I am fascinated by Royal life and I just love them all so much. 10 hours after giving birth (Kate's superhuman, that I'm sure of), Duchess Kate and Prince William left the hospital. I'm unconcerned with Prince William's outfit, mostly because I saw it when he came back to pick up Prince George - they were matching and it was real freaking cute. So I guess I'm half interested in him. But Kate! She looks gorgeous. Look at that blowout, people! She's stunning. Absolutely stunning and this Jenny Packham dress is perfect. I'm glad she didn't pick pink and I'm glad this has more design to it than just polka dots like the dress she wore with Prince George. Oh, my heart is so full. All hail Kate and Princess Erin! Hey, I can dream. They haven't announced the name quite yet. Fingers crossed for Diana as a middle name. I'll definitely keep you posted either way. I AM SO EXCITED.
Ugh, she is so cute! I want to snuggle her.
So chic and put together. She gave birth mere hours ago and she looks ready for an event. Here I am still in my PJs in bed with my kitten, Olivia trying to attack my fingers as I type. So I guess we're not all that different....
Just one more. I adore them.

Vogue May 2015

So... I wrote something earlier about how Vogue has become predictable and comfortable, but it didn't actually make sense once I read it back again. You know how that is, right? While that may be true, it doesn't stop me from getting excited. Sweet angel faced Carey Mulligan graces the May cover of Vogue and I love it. Plain and simple.
