LA Confidential April/May 2012

One of my favorite people in the world, well my favorite "stranger," Rachel Zoe graces the cover of LA Confidential's April/May issue. Why I am just now finding out about this is beyond me too, so whatever. She looks great, as always. I really have no additional comments other than the fact that I love her and I want to hang out with her 24/7 in order to soak up her awesomeness and then some.
I mean, actually if we are being completely honest, I am not crazy about the cover, but c'est la vie.
This is my favorite one. I don't know what she is doing, but the amazeballs sequin dress (From her collection, naturally) is just the greatest.

2012 White House Correspondents' Dinner

A crap load of celebrities came out to Washington last night to join President Obama for the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Like, actually a crap load. There were some obvious ones, George Clooney, and then some kind of random ones like Josh Hutcherson. I mean, I'm not complaining. I love both of them and when they're wearing a suit? Yes, please and thank you. Oh, and Lindsay Lohan was there which is just... Yeah.
Michelle Obama looked gorgeous, as always. While I can't find any pictures of her whole dress, I love what I can see and that is sufficient enough.
He's just so pretty, I couldn't NOT include him.
I think Elizabeth Banks was the best dressed of the night. I love the simplicity of her entire outfit and the peplum on this dress is making my heart smile. I really, really like her, you guys.
Charlize Theron is so stunning, it actually hurts my eyes a little bit. And while her Emilio Pucci dress is kind of boring, I appreciate the conservativeness of it. Especially for the White House and such. Or wherever they were.
I still want Leslie Mann to adopt me as her own. Plus, I think I like her floral gown, so that's a plus.
I cannot even begin to tell you how long it took to find a full body picture of Josh Hutcherson from last night. My gosh. But he looked super dapper and perhaps it was worth the wait. By "perhaps" I mean, "it totally was."
Kate Hudson looked great in this Jenny Packham dress. Her hair did not look so great. It's just not a very becoming hairstyle for her. Ew, that made me sound like my Mother. I'm so sorry.
I don't like Reese Witherspoon's dress, but if she is pregnant like everyone is saying she is, then I'll just say this was a poor judgement made by her baby hormones. If not, then I don't know.
I don't know why Kim Kardashian showed up, with her Mother no less, just mere months after Obama said that he pretty much hated the whole Kardashian family/empire. It's curious. I wonder if he knew she was there. Also, the amount of velvet on her dress is legitimately giving me a slight panic attack. I hate it. I hate it so much. I need to go wash my hands...
Holy eff no. Rosario Dawson looked, for lack of a nicer sounding word, super fugly. This dress was SO ill-fitting, I can't even. Her boobs are squished and displayed ever so poorly. It's just an actual mess.
I think I like Malin Akerman's dress, but I can't focus on it because my eyes keep going automatically down to her shoes. I hate them. They look like hooves. You're not Lady Gaga, Malin. Stop this nonsense.
Dakota Fanning was there for some odd reason in a Prada dress that had potential, but unfortunately it just makes her look like a fancy Amish girl. Also, I can't see her shoes fully, but I think I hate them and want to see them die.
Ginnifer Goodwin, a red carpet favorite of mine, wore a H&M dress. That's cray, right? Right. But I like it. I kind of wish she played with her belt though. It could've been a red to match her lipstick or something. I don't know.
Ugh. Zooey Deschanel was there. Every single picture is of her slouching or posing awkwardly. I hate it. I also hate that I love this Oscar de la Renta gown and I hate that she is making me hate it on her. It is WAY too long. She bothers me so much, you guys and I don't want her to, but I can't help it. She just makes poor decisions such as this.
Rachel Zoe's dress reminds me of a jellyfish and I don't hate it.
Crap, I think I might like Claire Danes' Vivienne Westwood dress. Maybe. I might be lying. Now I'm not sure, stop making me question myself.
WHY THE HELL WAS LILO THERE? Who let her out of the house? Isn't she on probation still? She should be. If not for alcoholism or drugs or stupidity, it should be for this fashion citation right here. Everything is wrong with it. My Lord, Lindsay.

Happy Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge!
I remember sitting with my best friend at 3 AM, eating macaroons and watching the royal wedding like it was yesterday. It was a magical day, my friends.

ASOS June 2012

Shailene Woodley graces the cover of ASOS' June issue and I kind of love it. She's so precious and I've missed her. She was everywhere a few months ago, during Oscar season, but then I feel like she left us. I love her. I want to be friends with her. In the interview she says "I'm excited to become a badass archer... I want to be like Katniss." UM I am obsessed with "The Hunger Games," Katniss and the idea of archery. We could totally be best friends. If I can't have her friendship, can I at least have her hair? It's fantastic.
I love love love love love this. I even like the denim shirt. LEAVE ME ALONE, PEOPLE. I can change my mind sometimes. I also need to figure out this sunglasses situation because I think I may or may not have to have them.
She's so pretty. I WANT HER HAIR. I mean that in a super non-creepy sort of way. Like, I want my hair to look like hers. You know?
I hate the sunglasses and I hate the pajamas. Pajamas are NEVER meant to be worn outside. Especially whilst hanging from a tree. C'mon, Shailene.
Barefeet forever freak me out in photoshoots. It's a thing.

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez debuted her new fragrance ad the other day and I am having mixed feelings about it. Her dress is gorgeous, but I don't like the font (Which is a petty thing to hate, but whatever. Leave me alone.) and I don't like her hair. You know I don't like wet hair. It's just no. But I still love my little Selenita, almost as much as I love calling her Selenita. I am curious to smell the perfume though, it is a mix of raspberry, purple freesia and vanilla, two of my favorite scents. Raspberry being my least favorite, obviously. The fragrance debuts in Macy's next month. In other news, I don't like the bottle as much as I thought I did. Bummer.

Fashion Repeats

Is everyone trying to hurt me? I spotted yet another fashion repeat today. No, it's not another Prada bodysuit (Thank the Lord. Honestly, if I see another one, I don't know what I am going to do. Only I do. I'll probably just cry.) but it's a gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana dress. Unfortunately I really love it, so I am not too torn up about this quite yet. If I see it again, I will be upset. Jessica Chastain wore it in the April issue of Vogue Italia and Zuzanna Bijoch is wearing it on the cover of Numéro's May issue. I just need this to stop happening like, yesterday.

Chanel Artist Dinner

The Chanel Artist Dinner was held on Tuesday during the Tribeca Film Festival (I think it's funny how my invitation got lost in the mail, c'est la vie.) so naturally we have lots to catch up on. Okay, no. I'm just going to talk about Camilla Belle and Liv Tyler because everyone else was just too boring.
I know I say this every single time she comes to an event, but how/why does Camilla Belle get invited to all these swanky little events? WHAT DOES SHE DO TO DESERVE THIS? Is it because she has awesome eyebrows and pretty hair? I think I need to grow my eyebrows out then. That's the only way I'll be invited to events such as this. Her Prada dress is fine, I guess. It kind of adds like, 53 years to her, but whatever. Maybe elderly is what she was going for. Her eyeshadow is kind of a "no" though.
This concerns me. Liv Tyler has a lot of potential, she does I've seen it, but this is just a hot mess. I don't care if it was cold, Liz. There is no need for a long coat AND a big flowy dress on the red carpet. It all just makes her look super frumpy. Like, when her Dad is dressing in more revealing and form fitting clothes, you know there is a problem. Perhaps more than just one problem, but a problem nonetheless.

ELLE UK June 2012

Ugh. Cue the Liz Lemon eye roll here. Kristen Stewart is on the cover of ELLE UK's June issue and it's just whatever. It actually made me sigh outloud. Am I being a little dramatic? No. No I am not. Like, I just don't understand her hair. Or her pose. Or her outfit, as a matter of fact. Like, why is she wearing a sweater that only goes past her boobs and then one from her waist down. Did the sweater unravel or was it made this ugly? Fortunately, I do like the coloring (Things such as the coloring of a cover matter when there is nothing else to like.) and the background. I'm interested (Interested, dreading, same thing.) to see how the rest of the photo shoot turned out. Le sigh, KStew.

Victoria & Harper Beckham

Victoria Beckham was out and about in Hong Kong on Thursday, as one usually is, with Harper and they were looking EXTRA precious. I mean, look at this baby. She is so cute, I cannot even handle her cuteness. It actually hurts my heart a little bit. That is how cute she is. And Victoria Beckham is still amazeballs and will forever be, so whatever.

Leighton Meester & Ed Westwick

Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick were in Shanghai, of all places, today for the opening of the new Harry Winston store. Now, I am not entirely sure as to why they were chosen to cut the ribbon, etc. but they looked super cute and for that reason alone, I don't need any explanations. Leighton, Duchess of my Heart, looked stunning in Marchesa. Ed Westwick, or Chuck (I honestly can't not call him Chuck.) looked scruffy and dapper. They are a little bit perfect. Especially her. Sorry, Chuck.

Jalouse May 2012

Kristen Stewart is invading the Internet right now. Or at least the websites I check up on for my hourly celebrity gossip. She is on the cover of Jalouse's May issue with "On the Road" co-star Garrett Hedlund. This is just whatever, you know? She has raccoon eyes throughout the whole photoshoot, he's not super attractive to me and I don't love her facial expressions. She looks like she is drunk and/or on drugs. I understand the whole "you're young, go party and such" vibe, I think that's what they're going for, but it's not great.
This is actually my least favorite one. She just looks so dirty all the time. I can't do it, you guys. And she's going to be everywhere. I can feel it. I don't think I am emotionally ready for this.
She looks kind of pretty. He looks stupid.
I mean... No.

Kristen Stewart

Oh no. Kristen Stewart is out promoting things again. She was out promoting "Snow White and the Huntsmen," which big shocker, I am looking forward to seeing, today in Las Vegas, and I am really not feeling her outfit. I mean, this Cushnie and Ochs dress is just no. As someone pointed out, it looks like a cheerleading outfit. I'm just mad that I didn't come to that conclusion first. I was mostly focused on her hair. While I appreciate the length, color and waviness, JUST USE A COMB ALREADY, KSTEW. It just looks dirty and unkempt all the time. I wonder what it looks like when she first wakes up. Because this is what my hair looks like when I wake up, so I can only imagine...

CinemaCon 2012

Okay, I don't know what on Earth the CinemaCon Awards Ceremony consists of, but all I know is that celebrities came to Las Vegas, looked okay and received awards. I mean, okay. That's good enough for me. I love me some awards shows even when I don't know what they are. The awards are kind of ugly though. They look like those little light toys that kids can buy at Disneyland. You know the ones. They have characters on them and you press a button and they spin around and light up. You don't know what I'm talking about? Fine. Your imaginations suck. Here's a picture
I think Charlize Theron is gorgeous. Always. I just don't know if I like her Dion Lee dress. She looks amazing in it, no doubt, but huh. I don't know, my friends. I just don't know.
I love Jennifer Garner, I do, but I hate everything about this. I don't like her Michael Kors dress and I sure as heck don't like her shoes. C'mon, Jen. I'm rooting for you, but I can't root for you when you show up in these shoes. I have to meet you halfway.
Well, Michelle Pfeiffer was there. I think that's all I have to say about that.
Okay, I really love Leslie Mann. I kind of want her and her hubby, Judd Apatow, to adopt me. Or maybe they can be my cool aunt and uncle. I mean, I follow their daughter, Maude (I am obsessed with her name, by the way.) on Twitter and Instagram and I think she is just so cool. Oh, but back to her dress. It's cute. It kind of looks like wallpaper, but I like wallpaper.
Josh Hutcherson, my boyf, got a hair cut. Also, his pants are too long. Also, I don't think I like his tie. I still love him though, I do. I promise.
I wanted to say that Anna Faris was better than this disaster, but I really don't think she is...
